Chapter 13 : Tigress Part 2
When I got to the bathroom everything came up.
Literally everything.
I had drank more than I realized and the anxiety of the situation I had voluntarily entered myself in just made it worse.
I didn't know how much Yvonne thought she knew but just her having any kind of idea about me and Deion was more than enough to cause my nerves to be shot.
I flushed the toilet after hurling and walked out of the stall to the bathroom sink.
I looked in the mirror and realized how blurry everything looked. I was a literal hot mess.
Izzy!
I suddenly remembered she'd walked up in the middle of the heated conversation I was having with Deion's, I meant my boss's, wife.
There's no telling what was going through her head right now.
I deeply breathed in and out as I looked at myself in the mirror.
I stuck my tongue out and laughed like a maniac.
I don't know what had gotten into me but I had to laugh it off to keep from crying.
"Chica are you good?," Izzy asked, running into the the bathroom to stand next to me.
"Yeah girl I'm fine."
"What was that all about?," she questioned.
She was trying to fan me with some sort of menu she was holding in her hand.
"It's a long story," I sighed.
"I'm listening because that was crazy mamita. I didn't know you had that fire in you like that. I was like damn!"
"How much did you hear?," I asked nervously.
"Quite a bit but I'm drunk so at the same time nothing much."
I released a huge sigh of relief.
I wasn't willing to open up to Izzy just yet about everything that was happening behind the scenes with Deion and I.
I wasn't even sure what was happening myself.
"Let's go grab some food soak up some of this liquor," I told her.
She nodded her head and we swiftly made our way out of the bathroom.
I looked around the area I had argued with Yvonne in and quickly realized her and Jacob were long gone.
For now it was over, but then again I knew realistically it wasn't over.
My head felt like it was still spinning so I quickly slid into a nearby booth table and waved over the nearest server I could find.
"Can I please have a big glass of cold water with ice and lemon?," I asked the younger looking woman who had on a server uniform.
