Chapter 9 : Do You Love Me Baby?
** Sexual Content Below **
I pulled my car into Marcus's apartment complex and parked in his driveway around 8pm.
It was still the same day that all of these events had taken place.
My nerves were absolutely shot.
I still couldn't believe Deion had kissed me and basically admitted to having interest in me.
I also couldn't believe the things he was saying about his marriage.
I mean I know for a fact everything isn't always what it seems with everyone but at the same time they sure knew how to act.
Seeing them together in the grocery store that day definitely had me assuming they were some sort of power couple.
I guess you really can't judge a book by it's cover.
I'd never in my life dealt with a married man and I damn sure didn't plan to now.
Besides, I had my own man. Sort of.
I was interrupted of my thoughts by Marcus who was now tapping on the window of my car. I quickly opened my door and stepped out to greet him.
"You looking damn good, as always," he complimented me, kissing me on the cheek.
"Thank you. Let's go inside," I replied, pulling him in the direction of his apartment door.
I was ready to get down to business.
I didn't want any more time to think about or even remember Deion and what we had done today in this moment.
When we walked into his apartment the smell of weed and air freshener fragrances hit me in the nose immediately.
Marcus had always smoked weed and personally it never bothered me.
Like Cardi B said in one of my favorite songs, "I need a henny drinker, I need a weed smoker."
Him smoking weed never affected his productivity.
He wasn't a bum so that's all I cared about really.
"I tried to hurry up and spray something so the weed smell wouldn't bother you too much," he explained.
"You're good boo. It doesn't smell all that bad. I think by now I'm used to it," I responded.
I kicked off my gold sandals and tugged on his gym shorts string pulling him towards his bedroom.
I wasn't here to play any games. I needed a dickstraction.
I pushed him down onto his bed and watched as he licked his lips and rubbed his hands together.
His room was always a vibe which was why I preferred to go to his apartment over mine most of the time.
