I know there is a five-year difference between the first incidence of Shiganshina and the rest of the show (Most of Season 1-3), Meaning the main characters, Eren and all, would only be around fifteen, give or take. Season four making them 19-ish. I wanted to change this. I wanted a seven-year time gap. That means that the training will be from 847 to 852. And I will address the immediate red flag in the room. The thirteen-year time limit for Titan shifters will be shifted to compromise this time gap. Instead of thirteen, it will be fifteen. A much more whole number if you ask me. This will just help age out our characters more, and for some other plans I have for them that require. . . ageing up.
To clarify, Eren, Armin, Mikasa, and Y/n will be seventeen when they finish training and the battle for Trost begins.
