Chapter 2 - Shino x Artemis

Artemis P.O.V
Boy have I been tired lately, with school, the maid cafe, my outfits, I think I need to slow down. I was in the dorm, sewing together a project that I have been working on.

While I was working on this new outfit, I must have fallen asleep for a few minutes because when I came to my senses and turned off the machine, my sleeve was sewn into part of the new outfit

" YIKES!" I exclaimed as I tried to get myself out of the situation. I yanked and teared, trying to break the strings that sewed my sleeve to the outfit. While struggling, I fell out of my chair with a large thud. I groaned in annoyance and pain as I looked over at what I had done

" Arty you ok?" A voice asked on the other side of the door. Shino. I began to panic Oh dear this isn't going to look good.

He opened the door and his face immediately went to worry " what happened?!" He exclaimed, I let out a small shy laugh " just umm.. working on a project. Do you think you can help me out?" I ask as I point to the fabric scissor and to the outfit I was stuck to. Shino quickly got the scissors and began trying to get me out of the situation.

" how did you even manage this?" He asked, curiosity and worry in his eyes. I sighed and began to explain " w-well I have been working for a while, and I must have zoned out because I discovered that I had sewn my sleeve to the outfit. And I couldn't operate the scissors because my right hand was.. well... in a predicament." Finally Shino was able to undo the mistake and he set the design on my desk

" what are you working on?" He asked, I blushed " o-oh! Well that's a bit of a secret that I will tell you about later, it's a surprise" I mumble, not wanting to spoil it. A small smile was plastered on his face. " well I can't wait to see it" he said, I blushed a little more. " hey, I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to a new shopping plaza not that far from here. We haven't hung out together in a while so I thought why not." I smiled, my heart beginning to speed up.

" oh of course, sure! I -I would love to go with you." I stammered, he laughed " ok then, it's a date. How about we leave in about an hour" I nodded my head " sure, can't wait!" Shino's smile grows as he heads out of my room.

Now what am I going to wear?

After picking out one of my old suits, and heading out with Shino, we approached a somewhat large lit up area, filled with stores and tents, along with a sorts of other things. A park, a few rides, restaurants, even an ice skating rink. " oh my goodness! There's so much!!!" I exclaimed, Shino looked at me " well than, let's have some fun." He announced and before he could take a step, I was already rushing into the small village like shopping area, Shino shouting behind

Shino's P.O.V
" Arte-" I began, but he was already sprinting down the stores, jump in them, only to jump out and head to the next one. I ran to try to keep up, but it did little to no difference

Man was Arty fast!

I finally caught up to him and found him digging in a line of clothes, mumbling with excitement. I panted as I watched him look at a few outfits in the mirror." just don't go to crazy." I asked, still out of breath. Artemis went into the changing room to try on one of the outfits, leaving me with my thoughts.

Maybe we should get something to eat, then we can do something together

I thought for a bit before Artemis came out in his outfit. He was wearing a black and white checkered blouse with a small purple and blue bow tie, I smiled and lightly blushed at his new look " you look so cute!" I flirted teasingly at him, his face became bright red " what! I'm-.... Oh you knew how I would react. I'm glad you like it" he stammered. Then I reminded myself " want to get something to eat, it's on me" i offered, Artemis smiled " ok, I am kind of hungry"
