I couldn't believe what Jack just told us, Shino was a vigilante? He promised no more secrets or holding back details! Patron was right.
I try to ignore the negative thoughts and focus on the bigger picture
" so Shino, Kiyo, Blake and Shizu have been kidnapped by supervillains?" I clarify, Jack nodded. I look to the others, Rikku and Yuuto filled with panic " we have to help them, they could be hurt!" Exclaimed Rikku as she tried to rush towards the exit, but Jack held her back " I'm sorry, I can't. The reason your love partners did all this was to keep you safe, and if I allow you guys to come with me and fight those guys, they'll be pissed." He argued, then surprisingly, Yuuto spoke up
" you know what? I'm tired of the people in my life trying to keep me safe and protected, I appreciate it, but I can take care of myself! Do you guys agree?!" He exclaimed
Me, Rikku and Yuuto look at each other and cheer in agreement. Yuuto was right, we are sick and tired of being the reason why our loved ones basically go to war, it's time for us to have our moment. " save it Jack, we're going to help" I announce, I could practically feel the triumph and determination in the air, until slow claps fill the air
All of us turn to see one woman, in the back of the cafe building, coffee in hand. " yeah come on Jack, haven't you flipped up enough?" Her voice was rough, stern and filled with mischief. I looked at my fellow cafe members for an explanation but they looked just as confused as I did, unlike Jack
" L-L-Laura?!" He practically screamed, the woman smirked " finally my nimrod of a cousin figured it out. Well done." She announced sarcastically.
Cousin?! I didn't know that Jack had a cousin.
I looked back to Jack, who was choking on each word he tried to spit out " how? - when? - what?"the girl Laura sighed and rolled her eyes " oh for Christ sake Jack, quit blubbering about me and help your friends, we'll talk later!" She barked at him, Jack seemed to shut up at that and I decided to take over, and I was pissed " ok, so apparently this new girl is in on helping us, Rikku, Yuuto, I have a feeling that you want to get back your lovers, Patron you in?" I ask, hoping that he would be. Without hesitation, he nodded.
" then it's settled, the six of us will meet back here tomorrow after school and discuss a plan, it's no use to just blindly run in there." I decided and walk out of the Café, not looking back once.

Later that night, all I can do is sit in the patio and think.
Why would Shino lie? What pushed him to do all of those dangerous thins?
Memories of Shino flood my mind as I begin to hear all the hope filled comments he has said to me. My eyesight becomes blurry with tears.
" hey, you ok?" I hear a voice pierce through the silence. I turn to see Patron, sanding at the doorway of the patio, starring at me with pure white, sympathy filled eyes. I sniffle and wipe away my tears " oh um.... Yeah, I'm alright" I answer, my voice cracking. Patron looks down and sighs " I can tell that something is bothering you, is it Shino?" It wasn't really a question he said, but more of an assessment.
Patron walks over to the railing with me and puts an arm around my shoulder. " it's just this whole thing is a mess, our friends have been kidnapped, Jack's long lost cousin shows up out of the blue, Shino has been lying to me." I stop, sighing " and now we have to save them, come up with a plan to get them out of there alive, and I don't know how! I don't know how to be the hero! Im just.... Me." I storm back into my room and sit on the floor, my back against my bed. Soon Patron follows as well.
" well maybe that's all you need, you just need to be yourself and come up with a plan that works for everyone. You can do it! You are the one and only Artemis Divil, you can do anything without anyone or anything stopping you." He encouraged. I smiled, that is why he was a brother to me, he always wanted me to do my best. I look over at the small box on the counter, clothing spilling out of the shoe box.
I can't do this by myself, I need some help, starting with Patron
I look back towards Patron, giving him a smirk, he mirrors " oh I know that look, that's you I have an idea look. What do yo got?" He asked, enthusiasm coating his voice " I have an old project that I was saving for myself, but I think it has a new purpose." I answer, Patron smirks as I get to work.
I work on the project for hours, and while I work, I begin to strategize, calculating our odds, our offense, defense, pros, cons, everything. By the time I am finished with the project and I have an idea in my mind, I race to the living room to start the day, the earlier I start, the sooner I can present everything. But first.....
I get my glass of water and walk over to Patron, who is asleep on my bed. I splash the water onto his face " wake up Patron, I'm done! Let's get through this day, come on" I demand, Patron doesn't seem to have as much enthusiasm, but groans and gets out of bed.
" ugh, If I knew you were going to be this hyper, I wouldn't have given you that inspirational speech last night." He groans as I laugh, making my way down the stairs so I can get the day over with.

It's the end of the day at school, I make my way to the cafe club building, quickly close the shop to all customers and set up my stuff to explain the plan. After about 15 minutes, everyone arrives
" ok, from Jack's perspective, the building was swarming with villains right?" I ask, Jack nodds " yes, but there are 4 main supervillains, Rain, Krieg, an ice manipulator and a metal manipulator." He clarified, I nodded.
" so what do we know about them, Rain we thought was dead after Rikku blew him to smithereens, Krieg is abnormally strong and could take us out in one hit, the ice manipulator I think basically has Blake's powers just the opposite, instead of controlling heat, they can control the cold. And the metal manipulator may be the hardest, a lot of surroundings are made of metal which he can use to his advantage, so watch out." I explain, apparently I was doing pretty good, no one contradicted me, so I continued
"I'm thinking of a bit of a surprise attack, send one or two of us to cause some damage, than once we have their attentions, send the rest in and attack from behind, while one or two members will get the others and see if they can help, because with this group and how low we are in numbers? We're going to need all the help we can get. But first, I think we need to train." After I offered the training bit, Patron, Laura, and Yuuto sighed.
" hey, I don't like it anymore than you guys, but we can't go in there looking for a fight when we don't know how!" I exclaim, Jack nods " he's got a point." I smile
" ok then, let's get to work!" I announce and the rest cheer as they make their way out of the cafe and towards the school, but before Patron leaves, I pull him aside
" hey, I figured that you don't have a hero costume, so I made one myself. Go try it on and meet us at the school training grounds" I whisper to him as I hand him the box with the outfit inside. We smiles and rushes off, leaving me smiling and feeling mixed with pride and worry

I'm probably not going to post again for the rest of the day, so this might be the only chapter today, IDK
My finger is killing me, why do sprains hurt this much?!
