Chapter 30 - A Proper Reunion

Kiyo's P.O.V ( been a while)

I felt bad for leaving the others at the building, but I hope they can understand.

After Yuuto fought that beast and the others raced down the battle grounds, I instead, got me and Yuuto out of there as fast as possible. He was hurt, had several broken bones and other sprained, there was no way he could get himself to the hospital with falling flat on his face, let alone fight. So, I help him all the way to the school grounds so his aunt could check him up.

Once there and Venus brought Yuuto to one of the rooms, I sat there, waiting. Eventually, Avian actually came in and start yelling at me, demanding what the hell happened, how could I let this happen etc. I just lied and said that we went on a date and he ended him crashing down the stairs.

I have to say that I did feel guilty, seeing Yuuto beaten like that. It filled me with an unquenchable rage and desire to hurt someone.

Finally, Venus came back with the report. Apparently, Yuuto had suffered from three broken ribs, a broken arm, sprained ankle, head trauma, and back problems. Holy sh-

I was finally able to see Yuuto, after much arguing with his aunt, she led me to his room. Once there, I see Yuuto on the bed, his leg and rips wrapped up, his arm in a sling and a gauze patch taped to the side of his head. When he saw me, he softly blushed and smiles. I give him a small wave "good to see your ok." I say bleakly, but we both know there is more. But first, I had to give us some privacy

" Thank you Yuuto's aunt, but I think we have it from here" I conclude, trying to push them out the door " oh no mister, don't think for a second I will... hey what are you?-" she was cut off by me shoving her out of the the doorway and slamming the door in her face. I turned back around to face Yuuto, a mischievous grin on my face.

" that was a bit rude" he commented, but I could tell that he was glad for the privacy. I went to the side of his bed and pulled up a chair, my attitude now serious as I took in his wounds " Yuuto what you did was dangerous, your lucky you didn't get to badly hurt." He looked at me for a while, as if he was reading my emotions and thoughts. " you were in danger Kiyo, of course I would do that." He answered simply

I too stared at him for a while, thinking about him. I studied his features, his light soft blue hair, glistening yellow irises, his small but cute build, his consistency to stick by my side.

I felt guilt snake around my heart and squeeze it tight. Because of my ignorance, I went off on a stupid mission just to protect him, yet he was safer before I did that. Now, just to fix my mistake, Yuuto ended up getting hurt.

" don't blame yourself for what happened, I was the one that jumped on a supervillain's back who was 4 times my size and just so happened to be wielding a large hammer." Yuuto's voice broke my thoughts as I turned back to face him. I gave him a pained smile

"I went on the quest to keep you safe. But instead it got you into more danger and got you hurt." I confessed, I felt like I was sinking in my own thoughts and emotions, which kind led to me feeling like I was losing my dignity. But I was pulled out of it when Yuuto grabbed my hand

" remember what I said on our first date? ' consequences or not, we'll be here for each other. No matter what" I thought back to the first date we had, smiling at my transparency back then.

As I looked at Yuuto's face, I couldn't help but think about that kiss we had at the jail cell. I don't think I got enough of a reunion.

I give him a bit of a smirk, which made him confused, " what?"

My smirk grew as I became a bit flirty

" you know that reunion kiss we had at the building?..." I begin, hoping that he will catch on. All Yuuto does is nod, with a hint of glee.

" well since your blind friend interrupted us, I don't think I got my full serve of a reunion." I inched myself closer and closer to Yuuto, who was now bright red in the face. He too started to lean towards me as much as his injured form would let him. We closed the gap and kissed, he wrapped his arms around my neck, pulling me closer to him. But since I couldn't lean forward across the bed anymore, I did something rather impulsive, I jumped  up on the bed with him as we kissed. I felt it go deeper as Yuuto let out a little moan of pleasure.

We continued to kiss, warmth and love making my heart soar. But as usual, nothing ever goes right with me... " oh wow!" We eruptively stopped at the new voice. I turned to the doorway of the room and saw Shizu, looking rather surprised. They had a huge smile on their face as their red eyes seemed to shine. They let off an excited squeal, which I put an end to when I gave them a glare that could kill. They immediately shut up and turned to leave, before saying " don't worry, I won't tell. Besides, you guys make a great couple." They left in a rush, leaving me and Yuuto alone again.

I turned back to face him, we were both bright With blush after Shizu walking in on us. But I still wanted to continue " now where we're we?" I flirted as I pulled Yuuto into another kiss.

After some time, we just laid in the bed, darkness in the shy through the window as Yuuto curled up next to me. I was laying on my back as Yuuto laid on his side next to me, his head snuggled up on my chest as my arm was wrapped around his shoulders, keeping him close. Before I fell asleep with him, I mumbled " Love you Yuuto" I don't know if he heard me or not, but that was probably the best moment I ever had with him

Ok...... I had never wrote romance to that extent.

But I left a bit of a gap for viewers who wanted or didn't want it to happen. No clear answer except or some rather deep first base. Use your imagination.
