Shino's P.O.V
As I was laying in my bed, I couldn't get my mind off of the talk me and Blake had after the attack on the school
" Shino we need to talk, this is a problem" she had said, I felt the blood leave my face as my stomach opened into a huge pit
" what happened yesterday was obviously a villain attack, but this could be the beginning, they could something worse, we need to come together to talk again, tomorrow at school, in the early morning, before anyone shows up so we can all talk in private" she ordered, I never got a say in the decision as she walked off to her next class.
I sighed to myself, looking over at my alarm clock
5:43 AM
I groaned, I wouldn't get any sleep tonight. I got up to get some water or something from the kitchen when something caught my eye, a small necklace was slid under the door, military tags, glistening in the moonlight. I picked them up and what they read shocked me

In the morning, while I ate my breakfast, my mind was swarming with a bunch of different thought. The attack at Monarch Academy, the meeting I am forced to attend today, the strange tags I found that were slipped under the door by someone and so much more. I wanted to talk to Artemis about it, but I was to busy, instead I left them on the counter with a note. hopefully he will have a normal, not to crazy answer.
As I head out the door to meet up with the other, I think to myself
Can my life get any crazier?

As I arrived at the school, Kiyo, Jack and Blake were standing there, waiting for me.
" this is bad" Jack began, Kiyo snorted " you can say that again" Jack was right, this was really bad. The entire time there was peace and quiet, the villains were planning attacks, and the one at the school was just the beginning. " we need to figure this out, someone was able to sneak into the School, take out seven guards, five students and four teachers in under a half hour without anyone noticing, how?" Kiyo stated, me and Blake nodded
" I know we said no more, but I think we need go out again, as L.O.V.E" she announced. Yeah, wait - " uhh what?!" I exclaimed, why would we do that? " no, we basically retrired from the crime fighting business. Blake you said that we had to stop because we were hurting more people than saving them" argued Kiyo " hear me out guys, we know that these horrific crimes are going to continue and become more deadly, and there is no way I'm waiting on the authorities to take almost a full month to figure that out" Blake declared
I couldn't believe what she was saying, becoming a vigilante again? " No, no way, I am happy with the peaceful life I have now, I have missed out on enough this year with the club, I am not about to go back to hunting people down in the middle of the night." I argue back, but it seems that Blake has already already convinced Jack as he said " well let's hear her out, she has a point. If we just wait around for the other heroes, who are probably so self absorbed and ignorant they won't do anything and more people will just get hurt"
Thankfully Kiyo seems to agree with me " i kind of agree with Shino, we like our new way of living, not having to worry about being assassinated, lying to our dorm mates and loved ones about where we go." He Begins, but then he looks down and grumbled " that and I think I had a prophetic dream, involving the L.O.V.E group"
We turn our attention to Kiyo " what?" We say at once. He sighs " a few days ago, after me and Yuuto hung out and I went to bed, I had a vision that included me, you guys, Ana, Yuuto and Artemis, and it wasn't pleasant" he explained in a grave voice. After he mentioned Arty, that got my attention " Kiyo, this is very important, what happened in the dream?" I demanded, scared of the answer.
He let out an exaggerated sigh and began " it feels weird explaining a dream to you guys but ok. It was in the secret L.O.V.E base, but it was on fire, ruble and flames everywhere, smoke filling the air, but I saw Ana in the corner injured, Blake you were trapped under debris while Jack tried to get you out. Shino, you're not going to like this, but you were holding Arty's head and shoulders as you were crying, I think he was either unconscious or well..." he trailed off, letting it sink in. Soon the vision of Artemis dying on my cause filled my head, my heart felt like lead and I became sick to my stomach.
Kiyo picked back up " yeah you guys get the picture, I think what the dream was trying to say to me, not wanting to sound like a freaking physic here, but it was trying to say that if we were to continue our work as vigilantes, we would hurt even more people."
What Kiyo just told us left us in utter shock and silence, taking in the new information. Suddenly, we heard chatter from approaching students a knew our time was up. " we'll talk about this later, but for now, keep your guard up and stay on alert." Blake ordered as she and Jack walked off. Kiyo turned to me " I know that we just want to live a normal life, but if another ambush like that happens again, we may have to take action." As he walked off, a small voice echoed in my mind
He might be right, as much as I hate it, we might have to do something about the villains
Little did I know, that there were more people around for the conversation than I thought

Artemis' P.O.V
When I went downstairs to eat my breakfast, I never thought I would see the objects from my past. While I sat there, eating my eggs, Rikku came up. " Morning Arty!" She greeted Cheerfully, I smile at her and waved, not wanting to talk with my mouth full. Once I finish, I turn to her and ask " hey have you seen Shino? I haven't heard from him at all this morning." Rikku seems to think for a moment before her face lights up with realization " he left a note on the coffee table near the couch, maybe that had something." She guesses.
I shrug and walk over to the table to see a small note with Shino's hand writing
Had to head to school early to talk to some friends, but when school is over, I want to ask you about what these are
Under the piece of paper, I see two metal chains with small metal tags with my info and the information of someone from long ago
I gasp as I read the name
Oh my god
