Chapter 25 - Reunion

This is crazy

No not crazy...

Chaos

We fought left and right, ran sharp pieces of object through hearts, broke spines, snapped limbs, well.. you get the picture.

Rikku - Limodorum I  think lost her sanity. After a few minutes of fighting, Laura pulled her aside for a 'quick chat'. And now, she is just going animal mode on these guys. Letting of explosions that have shook the building, screaming protests and anger, doing different forms of fighting techniques and a lot more I'm not going to go into detail for.

Artemis - Umbra seemed pretty pissed, and highly skilled. He was able to control the shadows from the building to create spikes and all sorts of traps and things. He also shadow travel to different parts of the room, confusing the henchmen. But what scares me the most, was the fact the Umbra made the henchmen's own shadows choke them to the floor. That's not a pretty sight.

I continued my fight, letting off sound waves to knock them back, crushing some under the pressure, blowing out eardrums, and possibly killing a few.  But this just angered them more.

Soon, in one of the openings of a hallway, stood  Rain, The ice manipulator, and the metal manipulator. Behind them... another army of soldiers.

They charged into the room to join their fellow men. Soon, we began to become overextended and overpowered, running out of energy as more and more men started attacking at us. I was frantic, as soon as I would punch one guy unconscious, another jumped on my back and tried to break my neck. I couldn't have a millisecond to focus. All these distractions and being unable to regroup my focus caused me to miss a goon. He clubbed be over the head with some wrench or tool and I fell to the ground.

Immediately, the henchmen took the chance and started striking at me. I took hits to the head, throat, stomach, liver, and many other areas. I couldn't escape this wrath, I was weak and out of energy. Soon, my body would give out and I would be a goner. Through my mask, I felt blood on my face, coming from my nose, mouth, and probably cuts. My vision became blurry, soon the world around me was starting to become inexistent.

But something pulled me out of it

" GET OFF OF HIM!!!" Shouted a voice. Soon all the men were blown back, screaming in pain as large flames consumed the area above me. But that voice, it seemed to set me back into place and recharge my energy.

I look up to see Blake, standing next to me. She was in a protective position, fire in her hands and racing up her arms.  She shot some more fireballs at the men, making them back away. Then she blocked their path to us by forcing a wall of flames in front of us. Quickly, she turned the fire in her hands off and rushed to me, crouching down to inspect my wounds.

" oh my god, you freaking idiot! Are you nuts?!" She exclaimed. I just smiled, it's always good to see her.

I grabbed her hand, making her look at me "hey, I'm alright. It's good to have you back." I whispered to her, she nodded but then, jumped forward and wrapped her arms around me. I jumped a little bit by so much compassion, but hugged her back.

Pulling away, I was met with the shocked face of Blake " how did you even...?" She began, but I cut her off, finishing her thought. " I was able to gather a team. Not so much of an idiot now am I?" I taunted. But again, I forgot that we were in a battle. I soldier charged from behind me, which Blake quickly extinguished the problem with a stream of fire.

" you still kind of are T3chno, get your head in the game." She ordered, I smirked at our teasing argument and turned to face my opponents, Blake by my side.
