A few days after returning from the building and those who were injured had been healed, they all agreed to meet up at the café club for one last discussion.
NO P.O.V
This was like a negotiation, or like with married couples and the husband got In trouble with the wife and is now cowering in fear because the wife is about to tell him off. Artemis, Rikku, Yuuto, Patron and Laura were the wives and Shino, Blake, Jack, Shizu and Kiyo were the husbands. Strange huh?
They sat at the table, starring at each other, Each giving their partner a mental message. Finally, Rikku spoke up " you guys need to promise us all something..." she began, the L.O.V.E group looked a bit nervous, but also guilty. Artemis and Yuuto nodded in unison.
" you need to promise never to put yourselves in that much danger, no more sneaking off at night, no more lies. And if you are, you have to at the very least, tell us." Stated Yuuto, his voice stern and serious. Artemis piped in as well
" we all know you do all of this to keep us safe and we know you care, but we can protect ourselves, we can take care of ourselves. I think we proved that by saving your butts" the ex - vigilante group nodded vigorously and mumbled in agreement.
Kiyo then spoke up " don't worry, never again. We all renounce our position in L.O.V.E." Agreed Kiyo, the rest nodded as well.
Rikku let out a grunt " good. Oh and by the way, we wouldn't have come together if it wasn't for Jack storming into the cafe club and spilling the beans to us. So thank you Jack, for believing in us." She added, But Jack didn't look so thrilled. His face sparked into fear as he looked to his side at Shizu, Kiyo and Shino giving him glares and Stink eyes.
Their anger was interrupted by Artemis giving off one statement " Amendment?"
" Amendment." The rest of the group said in unison.
Everyone got up to leave, heading back to their dorms. Patron on the other hand was curious. He had his nose buried in a file, with the same rhombus like logo. Artemis came up behind him " hey Patron?" He called, yanking his attention out of the strange folder and to his brother like companion.
" oh uh.. yeah?"
Artemis seemed a bit distant, hesitant. But he put his hand on his best friend's should and began to speak
" thank you, for sticking with me. I couldn't ask for a better friend." He complimented, making the nearly blind camouflager smile
" hey, that's what brothers are for" he simply stated, giving Artemis one last hug before leaving.
He continued to read the file, some of the pages confusing while others were straight up boring. Until he came up onto a page that seemed to suck all the air out of his system.
In the file, someone wrote orders to weaken a subject. Get them to be easily manipulated and controllable, cause him both physically and mental pain. And a simple photo, one of a strange machine and chair.
The file was signed by someone call F.B, but it was supposed to be sent to another angent. The receiver.... Kol Becker.

I have been planning for this ending and the next book for a while. More jaw droppers, more surprises.
But I am sad to say that this is it.... The end.
