Chapter 13: A Proper Punishment

In the Mirror Chamber, it seems dark and quiet. Soon, visitors begin to enter the Chamber to notice the dark atmosphere.

One man says, "This is the Dark Mirror? Looks like a plain ol' stuff-reflector to me."

Soon, the Dark Mirror's mask appears in the mirror, and remains silent.

Then the woman says, "Okay, but the Mirror Chamber itself is, like, super mystical and stuff. They say this is the only time of year when outsiders are allowed to enter this place!"

Then the woman notices the sign, "Ah, there's a sign that says no photography. But if I don't get a picture now, I'll never be able to get one."

Then the man says, "Nobody's else is inside, so it's not like we're bothering anybody. Getting a few snaps wouldn't hurt, I say!"

"I like the way you think. Okay, let's do it!" The woman says in excitement.

And of course, the two begin to take pictures of the Mirror Chamber without a care. Meaning they're Magicam Monsters as well. Unknown to them, Vil and the other students from Pomefiore Dorm witnesses the people breaking the rules.

"And now they've taking pictures in the Mirror Chamber. Pity. It seems these so-called guests have no honor after all. Between Magicam Monsters and paparazzi, not a single person who takes pictures without permission is a decent human being. They've not a care in the world for how much they inconvenience others, as long as they get their precious clout," Vil says.

Then Rook says, "Photography itself is a wonderful thing. It allows us to capture a moment's beauty and preserve itself for all eternity. I can appreciate a desire to collect such scenes. But there is no beauty in the act of rule breaking."

Then Epel notices something inside that is shocking, "Ah! They're getting their hands all over that gate! And they're... trying to open it?! The gates guide the souls of students chosen by the Dark Mirror. You can't open them without a special key. The headmage said as much, but look at these people..."

Then Vil sternly says, "If children won't abide by the rules, they deserve a proper punishment. Rook. Epel. Is everything in place?"

"Oui!" Rook answers as Epel says, "Yes, sir!"

And with that, the Pomefoire Dorm begin to set their plan in motion.

Meanwhile, the visitors who are revealed as Magicam Monsters, are trying to open one of the coffin cases. However, they hear footsteps and turn to see Vil.

The man says in surprise, "H-hey, check it out!"

The woman notices, "What? Wait, is that Vil Schoenheit?!"

"I heard he went to Night Raven College, but wow. We get to see him in person!" The man says, surprised and amazed.

The woman is just as excited, "I might never get another chance to see Vil this close up. I'd better get some pics while I can."

"But there's no photography allowed. We might get in trouble. Let's hide behind the gate and snap our picture there!" The man says.

"Good idea," The woman says.

Soon, the two hide behind one of the gates and begin to secretly take pictures of Vil. Suddenly, they hear more footsteps.

The man whispers, "Someone followed Vil in."

The next person to walk in is Epel. And they're just in awed with him as they are with Vil.

The woman happily whispers, "Awww, he's so cute! I haven't seen him onTV or online before. Is he featured in magazines, maybe?"

"No idea, but let's get some pictures anyway," The man whispers.

Soon, they started taking pictures of Epel as well.

"Even I can tell he's got a unique look going!" the man whispers.

"Ooh, maybe we've discovered Twisted Wonderland's next hot model. Wouldn't that be cool?" The woman replies, still taking pictures. "If i post these with the hashtags #VilSpotted and #OnceInAMilleniumQTPie. I'll go viral for sure!"

Epel walks to Vil and calls out, "Vil."

Vil turns to see Epel, "Why, hello there, Epel. Is dinner prepared?"

"Yes, sir. A prime meal is ready for you..." Epel says.

Then commands, "... Come on, you two! Over here, now!"
