A whole day has come by and it's now night at Night Raven College, and it's time the students' plan is set into motion.
At the botanical gardens, the jack-o-lantern glows and the room is dark, covered with slight fog, it is almost like a real graveyard at night. And right on cue, the Magicam Monsters have appeared.
"We finally made it to the botanical gardens!" The woman happily says. "We've gotta get some pictures of those rare flowers that only grow here for Magicam."
"Yeah, for sure!" A man says.
He looks around and wonders, "Where are they, anyway?"
The woman looks around as well, but soon notices a flowerbed, "Is that them over there? Those pretty blossoms way in the back?"
The two begin to walk over, but soon notice a sign up ahead. It says, 'Please Stay Out of the Flower Beds."
"It says not to go in there... But with all these other plants blacking the way, we can't get a good shot from here," The man says.
Soon, the Magicam Monsters begin to walk over as they push past the trees.
Suddenly, the woman notices something or someone ahead, "Hm? I see some people on the other side of the trees."
The two Magicam Monsters remain hidden as they hear three people, looking like students talking from a distance.
One student says, "Say, have you heard the rumors about the Night Raven College botanical garden?"
"Why, no, I haven't! Tell me more," The second student says.
"What rumor, now...?" The woman whispers in reply.
Then the first student then explains, "Centuries ago, the area this garden stands on used to be a burial ground for, well... problem-causers."
"I'm going to need you to be more specific," The second student says.
The first student says, "Malicious mages. Terrible tyrants. Knavely knights. Basically, villains that were too much for people to handle. Anyone so infamous they couldn't be buried in major cities got shipped out to Sage's Island, far removed from the rest of civilization. The islanders assigned a keeper to guard over the grounds. After all, what if those foul villains arose again as evil spirits? But... one foggy night, the keeper vanished without a trace. So did the next mone. And the next one after that. And the next one after that. Gravekeeper after gravekeeper all went missing, and always on a foggy night. Did they all run away? Or did they get dragged down to join the villains buried underfoot? No one knows for certain. But I hear that even now, sometimes people spot skeletons with shovels roaming the botanical garden grounds on foggy nights. Some day those skeletons are the remains of the vanished gravekeepers. And they continue their work unabated, completely unaware that they're dead."
The second student is shocked, "Whoooa. I've never heard that before!"
Then the third student says, "You know what I hear? That every year, someone goes missing at Night Raven College, and the school covers it up. Worse, these botanical gardens are the last place each of those people were seen. That's why all the 'do not enter' signs are posted. They can't afford to tarnish their image by publicly admitting it, but... The signs are there to keep students from having an unfortunate run-in with any skeletons."
Then the first student says, "Speaking of rumors, it's getting a little foggy. Chilly, too. We'd better make ourselves scarce."
Then the students walk away as the Magicam Monsters watch.
The woman says in surprise, "Wow. Did you catch that?"
But the man, who has recorded the video, says, "C'monnn, there's no way. All that stuff about burial grounds and skeletons? They're just your standard-issue schoolyard rumors."
"Make sense. Guess that's one of their 'Seven Wonders,' The woman says.
Then the man says, "In fact, a garden with a creepy backstory sounds even MORE fun to visit on Halloween. Ghost story videos are pretty popular online. We could go viral!"
"Ooh, good point. Okay, in we go!" The woman says.
They soon begin to walk into the grounds of the botanical garden's flowerbeds, despite the signs. Meanwhile, Deuce and Cater witnessed it.
"They read the sign and went into the flow bed anyway!" Deuce says.
"Definitely Magicam Monsters," Cater says.
"They heard Housewarden Rosehearts' entire story and STILL decided it was okay to make a nuisance of themselves. Tch," Deuce says, annoyed.
"It didn't deter them at all. Based on the grins they were sporting, I'd say it actually encouraged them. I think we need to send a firm message here," Cater says.
Then turns to some of the students, "Please, everybody! Get set!"
"Yes, sir!" Deuce and the other students answer.
Now it's time to give the Magicam Monsters a real fright.
