Chapter 14: Shall we Dine?

Vil turns to see Epel, "Why, hello there, Epel. Is dinner prepared?"

"Yes, sir. A prime meal is ready for you..." Epel says.

Then commands, "... Come on, you two! Over here, now!"

Walking inside the room are few of the Pomefiore students.

One student panics, "Wh-what's happening?! My legs are marching forward on their own!"

Another student asks, "Housewarden Vil, what's going on?!"

Vil chuckles, "Heh heh heh... This feast was a long time coming, but you've finally grown enough for me to eat."

"Y-you're freaking me out here..." The first student says in shock.

Vil walks over with his arms crossed, "You wanted to know what the secret to my beauty was, yes? I'll let my soon-to-be meals in on a juicy tidbit as a parting gift. My trick isn't expensive makeup or a proper lifestyle... It's sucking the life out of humans."

"Wait, WHAT?!" The second student exclaims in shock.

"But it can't come from just anyone. I need the vitality of those who are young and healthy. That's how I've maintained my youth and beauty for centuries," Vil says.

This has become a shock for the students.

The first student screams in fright, "Y-y-you're a monster!"

"Heh..." Vil says, "I do so love seeing you humans squirm in terror. Allow me to correct you, though - I am no mere 'monster.' I am the most monstrous of monsters... A vampire!"

Hearing this becomes a shock to the Magicam Monsters who are still hiding behind one of the gates.

The man whispers, "D-did you hear that? What is this?!"

"I don't know. But this is crazy, right? Vampires aren't real. They're pure fiction," The woman whispers back.

"So when you lead us to have healthier diets and more proper schedules... The second student questions.

Then the two students panics, "It was so you could whip us into eating shape?!"

Then Vil says, "Your blood will go down nice and smooth now, just the way I like it."

Then turns to Epel, "Shall we dine, Epel?"

"Let's," Epel says, and walks towards one of the students.

He leans his head towards the student and bites him around the neck area.

The student screams, "GYAAAH!"

The two Magicam Monsters panic, "What?!"

The man says, "I could swear that sounded like someone biting into meat still on the bone. W-was that the student's neck?!"

"What's happening?!" The woman panics.

Vil sighs, "Epel, what have I told you about observing proper etiquette?"

Then turns to the other student, "I suppose I'll have to demonstrate how to eat once again. Pay close attention. This is what you should do when you dine."

Vil then wraps his arm around the student and then uses his over hand to lift his head back to reveal his neck. And with that, he bites on the student's neck.

The student feels the pain, "Urk!"

And begins to feed on his blood. At least, at the glance of the Magicam Monsters.

The woman says in shock, "Wait, hold up. Vil bit into a student too!"

"He was talking about sucking the life out of people. I-is he literally doing that?" The man asks, starting to get scared.

Soon, they hear the student scream, "Rrgh... I can't go on... Alas! That the one place I felt the safest should be my demise... What terrible... irony... Grk..."

"O-oh geese... that guy's gone completely still," The man says.

"What? You mean Vil and the other boy are both..." The woman panics.

Then they both exclaim in shock, "REAL VAMPIRES?!"

Soon, Vil says, "Now, Epel - I expect you to eat with grace."

"Yes, Vil," Epel says.

And so, Epel bites on the other student's neck again, but by following Vil's example this time.

The student panics, "N-nooo... Don't do it... Urgh..."

Soon, the student collapses, now both students have gone limp.

The man panics, "Ah! Now the other student's gone limp!"

"There, you see? That was a much smoother draining," Vil says. "Human life is absolutely essential to maintaining our beauty. I expect you to be more mindful of your dinner etiquette moving forward, for your own good. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes, Housewarden - ah, excuse me. Thank you, Count Vil," Epel answers.

Of course, seeing and hearing all this, is a definite shock with the Magicam Monsters.

The first man begins to panic, "Dude... I can't believe the secret of Vil's beauty is human life."

"W-we have to get out of here. If they find us, they might drain us dry, too!" The woman panics.

Soon, the two begin to sneak away and make their way to the exit, but are stopped by Rook.

"What's this?" Rook questions, "It's not very polite to leave when someone's about to have you for dinner."

"EEEK!" The two Magicam Monsters yelp.

"Oh, you're just visitors. Pardon moi," Rook says with a smile. Then crosses his arms, "But I'm afraid you've learned Vil's secret... which means I can't let you simply walk out here."

"P-please, pretend you didn't see us!" The man panics.

"We won't tell a soul. Honest!" The woman panics.

Suddenly, a familiar voice says, "That would be out of the question."

They quickly turn to see who is behind them, "Vil!"

"Dear me. I do try to watch what I eat, but with such a tempting treat placed right before me..."

"A little junk food every now and then won't do any harm, Count Vil," Epel says.

"Let me guess, Epel," Vil replies, "You're still hungry, aren't you?"

"Eh heh heh... i might be," Epel answers.

"What am I to do with this boy?" Vil replies.

Then says, "I suppose you're right, though. Sometimes it's nice to have a little... cheat day."

Then turns to the Magicam Monsters, "Consider yourselves lucky to be part of my beauty regimen!"

Epel smirks, "I'm going to suck you dry!"

Then Epel and Vil shout, "BOO!"
