Chapter 2: A Photo with Me?

Halloween Week - Day Seven:

At the Ramshackle Dorm, Crowley and Trein are observing the situation with the Magicam Monsters. However, when they arrive at the dorm, they are very surprised.

Crowley is shocked, "What in the world...?!"

What they see is that the visitors are casually looking around the venue and asking to take pictures.

A child happily asks Lilia, "Mister, mister! Do it again!"

"Mm, very well," Lilia answers, "Close your eyes, and... Poof."

Soon, Lilia appears floating in the air, upside down as he lets out a, "Rawr!"

And happily says, "Look at me, I'm a scary long! I swallow tiny children like you whole! Well? Am I sufficiently frightening?"

The child happily says, "You're funny, but you're not scary at all."

"Oh, is that a face?" Lilia replies.

Then says, "Maybe something a little higher-level is in order..."

Hearing that, Silver panics, "Father, no!"

"I think your fullest efforts would be more than most children can handle!" Sebek says, sweating bullets.

"You think?" Lilia questions.

Then Sebek turns to the child, "You there, little humans! I trust you're enjoying Halloween?"

"Yup! I'm having lotsa fun! I've never had such a cool Halloween before!" The child happily says.

Lilia snickers, "Khee kee kee... if you're satisfied, then so am I."

Then says, "Happy Halloween! Rawr!"

Meanwhile, Malleus has been asked to take a picture.

Malleus asks, "You wish to take a picture with me, you say?"

"Yes, sir! I love your costume. I'd like to take a quick snap to remember it by!" A man says.

"My, my. Who knew there were humans so reckless that they would dare to ask for a picture with ME?" Malleus replies.

"Huh?" The man says, confused.

Then Malleus says, "That you'd voluntarily waltz so close to a long without a mote of fear is quite amusing. By all means, step forward - if you don't mind being burnt to a crisp by my fiery breath!"

"E-erk..!" The man says, getting frightened.

Malleus questions, "Why did you freeze up? That's where you're supposed to laugh. I tried to follow the advice of Lilia and the rest of the dorm in pretending to be a long Am I not sufficiently convincing?"

"Wait, that was... a joke?" The man questions. "You scared me there. I thought you were really going to burn me up!"

"Please. Do I seem that ill-mannered to you?" Malleus questions, crossing his arms.

Then calmly smiles, "I wouldn't dream of raining lightning down upon well-mannered humans. Come. You shall have your picture with me."

"Thank you!" The man says, relieved.

Soon, the man joins Malleus.

Then Malleus says, "Happy Halloween."

Meanwhile, the Ramshackle Ghosts, Briar, and the others are having fun as well.

Patrick says, "Step right over here if you want any pictures!"

"Stay in a single-file line," Albert says.

The woman happily says, "I can't believe I get to take a picture with a ghost!"

Another woman says, excited,c"I can't wait for my turn to come up. What kind of pose should I do?"

"Hey, if you wanna learn some cool moves, I'll show ya what's what. Follow this great and powerful mage's example if ya wanna be the best around!" Grim happily says.

Then calls out, "Mraaah!"

The woman squeals, "Awww, he's so cuuuute!"

"Grr... I ain't cute. I'm COOL," Grim says, annoyed.

Sereia happily says, "I think you're cute."

"Yeah. You look really cute and adorable," Briar says.

Grim then smiles, "Oh well, this still beats gettin' chased around by the tail anyway. I'll let you ladies off easy. Besides, today's Halloween!"

"Happy Halloween!" The Ramshackle Dormmates cheer.

Briar and the friends are having a lot of fun, and taking pictures with the visitors. Jasper and Tanzanite are also with the mad scientist and Frankenstien duo.

Meanwhile, the rest of the staff meet up with Crowley.

Trein says, "We keep searching, but there are no Magicam Monsters to be found."

The visitor and students all seem to be having a perfectly good time," Crewel says.

"That's what I call picturesque!" Sam says.

Then Vargas says, "And we've checked with the other dorms, too. They're all just running their stamp tour stations, smoothly as can be."

Crowley seems pleased, "Peace has returned to my campus!"

Then turns to the staff, "Professors - head to the dorms and round up the management committee students representatives. It's time for us to talk."
