Chapter 12: After What You All Said...

Kalim then lets out a growl, "Rrrgh! Rawr-rawr! Grrr! Growth-rowr-rowr! AWOOO!"

The man screams, "H-he's growling and baring his fangs! He's legitimately gonna eat us!"

"We'll never litter again! Honest! Please, forgive us!" The woman screams.

And with that, the Magicam Monsters begin to run away.

Kalim continues to roar and growl, "Rawr-rawr-rawr! GRRROWR! AWOOO!"

Just then, one of the students walks over and says, "Uh, Housewarden...?

"Awooo..." Kalim roars.

Jamil rushes over, "K-Kalim?"

Suddenly, Kalim calms down, "Huh? I just noticed the visitors are gone. Did they go home? I was ready to take some pictures with them to show there were no hard feelings if they'd learned their lesson. Oh well." and shows a grin on his face.

The student says, "There's our housewarden! He's back!"

Then the other student says, "That scared me... For a second, I thought he'd really turned into a werewolf!"

"That was an unusually convincing performance," Jamil says, looking rather shocked.

Then calmly says, "It was a far cry from the first time you tried to act like a wolf. How'd you pull it off, Kalim?"

"Well, after what you all said last time... I decided to get some training from Rook," Kalim answers.

"Really? Why?" Jamil says, confused.

Then Kalim explains, "Rook knows a lot about animals, right? So I asked him for advice, and he told me all about wolves. All that practice I put in for Halloween really came through for me. Heh heh!"

Then remembers, "Oh, and speaking of coming through for me - you did too, Carpet."

Soon,Kalim's magic carpet comes out and shows an expression of satisfaction.

"You did a great job using your tassels to imitate a wolf's tail," Kalim says.

Then smiles, "I'm glad Jamil had the idea for you to do that. It worked out beautifully. You were all so convincingly afraid of the werewolf that they were already scared by the time I jumped out at them. The plan was a success all around thanks to everyone pitching in. Great job, guys!"

Jamil remains silent for a little.

Then Jamil says, "I don't know about that. I'm pretty sure they fled because of your extremely convincing performance. You definitely made the right call turning to Rook for pointers on that. Formulating a plan with an eye toward the end result, and working unstintingly to achieve it... That's why Scarabia's motto is 'A thorough plan is a good plan.' You were a credit to your position as housewarden, Kalim."

Kalim becomes surprised to hear Jamil's statement.

Then Kalim smiles, "Heh heh. Thanks , Jamil! All our hard work together paid off. This is gonna be the best Halloween! Surely now we'll be able to hold that party tomorrow. Let's keep it up and have some fun with this!"

Then calls out, "Happy Halloween!"

All the students of Scarabia dorm cheer, "Happy Hallween!"

Now Scarabia is free of the Magicam Monsters, and three more left to get rid of their Magicam Monster problem.
