Distance,
"Isabella! Hurry up, we're going to be late!" Veronica shouted from downstairs, "Stop yelling. Don't worry... we won't leave your little friends hanging." Isabella teased Veronica, getting a shove from her. "Whatever." Veronica shook her head as Isabella followed her out to the car. "Are Arabella and Luna going too?" Veronica asked, starting the car. "Yeah, we're meeting to get food then we're going to the shops." Isabella sighed as she buckled her seat belt.
"Okay." Veronica nodded, backing out of the driveway and starting to make their way to the Mall. Isabella went on her phone, texting the group chat with her two friends, Arabella and Luna. "Ronnie... how long will we be there?" Isabella asked, turning to her older sister, who kept her eyes on the road. "2... maybe 3 hours, why?" Veronica asked, taking a turn and getting onto the Freeway. "Bella wants to know, I may spend the night at her house, tonight."
Veronica nodded, turning on the radio and looking at her surroundings before merging into another lane.

The two girls finally made it to the Mall. "I'm meeting Alex and the others at the front." Veronica said, Isabella nodded before walking away from her sister, walking to the food court. Isabella sat alone, waiting for her 2 friends, scrolling through her phone, trying to look very invested in her dry phone. Isabella looked up, seeing none of her friends.
"Isa!" A voice yelled from afar, Isabella looked up with furrowed eyebrows, looking up to see Arabella with Luna trailing behind her. "Oh, thank god. I thought you guys stood me up." Isabella joked, moving out of her seat and walking over to her friends with open arms. They smiled before wrapping their arms around her; their infamous group hug.
"You act like you've been here for 30 minutes, alone." Isabella chuckled at Arabella, shaking her head as she pulled away. "Let's go shopping." Luna exclaimed, linking both of her arms with her two other friends, all following her to the closest store by them.

The girls spent the next few hours at the Mall, occasionally taking a break, but finally getting lunch. "I'll go home, grab my clothes, then I'll walk over to your house." Isabella mumbled, sounding muffled because of the cookie that was in her mouth. "Okay!" Arabella nodded with a grin."Isa, hurry the hell up!" Veronica shouted from the car that was sitting afar. "Wait," Isabella shouted back, rolling her eyes, adjusting the bags that wrapped around her arms. "I'll see you guys at 4!" Isabella waved goodbye to her friends as she made her way back to car; hurrying up because of her older sister's impatient-ness, but as Isabella walked quickly, she comes across a boy, bumping into him on accident.
"Shit! I'm so sorry, I was trying to run to my—" Isabella cuts herself off, staring up at the long-haired boy. "It's all good, I gotta go!" He didn't make eye contact as he ran off. "Holy shit." Isabella let out a breathy sigh, now being alone, slowly walking to her sister's car. She was shocked— She saw her childhood best friend, Miguel.
