With his training sorted (or at least postponed), Naruto found himself walking back towards his apartment with Boruto trailing behind. The dizzy spells and headaches were still there, but having the kid around was a nice distraction.

Naruto enthusiastically showed Boruto around Konoha. "This is my favorite ramen stand, Ichiraku! You've gotta try the Miso Pork here, it's the best!"

Boruto’s eyes were wide as he took in the bustling, yet somehow smaller and more rustic village. "Wow, it's so different! You don't have all those giant digital screens and moving sidewalks. And no trains!"

"Trains? What are those, some kind of big slug-like summoning?" Naruto asked, scratching his head.

"Nah, they're like giant metal worms that move on tracks super fast." Boruto explained, waving his arms. Now that Naruto thought about it, he studied about trains. But they were advanced and found in Land of Snow. He wondered if Boruto was from Land of Snow. "And screens? You have seen massive ones all over the high-rises in the future, flashing news and ads."

"Nah, they're like giant metal worms that move on tracks super fast," Boruto explained, waving his arms. "And screens?" At Naruto's confused expression, Boruto explained. "Think of TV but so large that it could be a shop's signboard." Naruto blinked. Really? He would love to see that. Such a big TV. He only has a small one and it rarely has signal.

"Our buildings are more like high rises, 6 to 7 stories long on average."

"High-rises? Sounds like someone's exaggerating." Naruto scoffed, though he was secretly fascinated. The biggest building he ever saw in Konoha was 3 story long. Something like 6 to 7 stories long on an average would be..... It was just so hard to imagine.

"I'm not!" Boruto insisted. "We even have shinobi card games that are crazy popular! Everyone collects them."

"Shinobi cards? Sounds neat," Naruto mused. But he wasn't interested in that. "But tell me more about this ramen. What kind of flavors do you have?"

Boruto's eyes lit up. "Oh, man, you wouldn't believe it! We have Spicy Inferno Chicken, Curry Bomb, and even Seaweed Deluxe! They're crazy good."

Naruto stopped dead in his tracks. "Seaweed Deluxe? That sounds... incredible. I need to eat that now!"

As they walked past the Hokage Monument, Boruto stared at the smooth stone face of the Fourth Hokage. "The village is so focused on tradition here. Everything feels... old-school."

"It's the Leaf Village! It's supposed to be old-school." Naruto grinned, punching his shoulder lightly. He felt a strange surge of warmth being around the kid. Boruto was energetic and a little bratty, but he was also funny and seemed genuinely interested in Naruto's life. Hey, he was cool. Sue you. "Come on!" Naruto jumped on the roof. "Let me show you my home."
