Jimin immediately hung up the phone. He put on his robe and checked himself in the mirror. Feeling satisfied with his look, he left the bathroom.
Y/N was sitting down on the sofa while reading her book. He went over and sat down beside her. She didn't raise her head: "That was fast."
"I hang up." Jimin said while drying his hair with a towel. When it was not so wet anymore, he threw the towel on the other sofa.
"Jimin! Put it back after you use it." Y/N said. Eyes still glued to her book, not looking at him.
"Alright, wifey." Jimin put the towel on the laundry then went back and sat down beside her. He took her left hand and checked her wounds.
Y/N was curious. "What are you doing?" She tried to peek at what he was doing by raising her eyes above her book but quickly look away as soon as her gaze caught his eyes.
This whole scenario made Jimin chuckle. He thought she was cute. "Have you finished your present for me?"
Y/N raised her eyebrows, finally looking at him.
"Do you want to know how I know?" Jimin stroked her hand with his thumb softly and smiled.
"Last night when you were asleep, I checked your pocket but there was nothing there. I searched for it and found it inside the drawer. I thought it was your new hobby but you actually embroidered a handkerchief for me." He pursed his lips, smiling at her. He felt satisfied with his little discovery.
"I bought you a handkerchief. I think it was too plain so I embroidered your name on it." She finally admitted it.
"And, a little red heart beside my name. What should we do with you? You love me so much, aren't you? That's why you injured your hand just to custum-made my gift." He kissed her hand then gently put her hand down.
Her face flushed and turned away to continue reading her book. Too embarrassed to look him in the eyes.
Jimin stroked her hair tenderly. "Are you angry at me?"
"No."
"No?" Jimin clearly didn't believe her. "If you are not, then why are you reading your book upside down?"
Y/N let an intentional cough, too embarrassed to say anything at all. She groaned internally. There was no way she could face him now. How could she do this to herself?
Jealousy really made people do stupid things.
She put her book down: "I am not angry."
Actually she couldn't control what she was feeling. It wasn't rage, she wasn't angry. But there was a pierce feeling inside her heart after Seulgi's call. She was trying to get rid of it but she couldn't.
He knew Y/N didn't want to discuss it any longer so he chose to let it be.
In the past, Jimin wouldn't be so considerate towards other people's feelings. But, now he is trying to change. For her, he was changing bit by bit.
He used to feel unwilling to accept the foreign feeling of how easily he was affected by her. But now after he accepted it, he knew he could do anything for her.
Jimin slipped his hand around her cheek, gently stroking them with his fingers then clutched her delicate chin to face him. "I'll be home early tomorrow."
"Why?"
"I'd like to spend time with you." Jimin said. "Tomorrow is the day to celebrate love. Since you love me so much, how about spending it with me?"
Y/N still couldn't believe how shameless this man really was. She pinched his arm.
"Ouch, what was that for?" Jimin stroked his arm in pain. "Grandma said she will take care of Joonie, so we can go out. I'll pick you up after lunch."
