Chapter 85

Jin cleared his throat. "Actually, she has been miserable these past two years."

Y/N had been through so much these past two years, and so often she was starting to feel like giving up. But something inside her, some deep-seated sense of hope and expectation, kept her going. She knew that she couldn't just give up, no matter how hard things got. She had to keep pushing forward, no matter how difficult it might be. Y/N didn't know if Jimin and Joon Min were still alive, but the possibility that they were out there somewhere kept her going. She couldn't bear the thought of losing them both, and so she held onto the hope that they were still alive, somewhere.

"I know." Jimin leaned on the wall and took a deep breath. He knew but he didn't have any choice.

From the beginning, Jimin couldn't understand why Y/N abandoned them. It hurt him deeply to think that she could just leave them behind like that. But at the same time, he felt grateful that she hadn't come with them. He knew that if she had, she might have been hurt, or worse.

"Let's not talk about this." Jin noticed that he didn't want to talk about Y/N. They just met after two years, so they had a lot of things to catch up on. "I have no schedule, let's go to the restaurant. I really want to know what happened to you."

They also invited Taehyung. When he got Jimin's call, he was so happy and immediately drove to the appointed place. When he arrived, Jimin and Jin were already there waiting for him.

Upon seeing Jimin's face, Taehyung felt emotional: "Park Jimin!"

Taehyung then pulled him into a hug. Jimin patted his shoulder. "Alright, now let me go..."

"Are you both in a relationship?" Jin jokingly asked.

They both glared at him and finally took a seat. Jin poured them the soju: "You were in Singapore this whole time? Taehyung said you were in Thailand when an explosion happened. Were you on the site?"

"The explosion was Taemin's plan. He hired an assassin to locate me and tried to kill me. When I found out, I made a plan to go to Bangkok without Joonie. So I had people take Joonie away the night before. Then it happened, fortunately I was rescued by someone but I was unconscious for months. When I woke up, I immediately went looking for Joonie but he wasn't there. Those people left after I got into the accident, they even sold the house. I spent a whole year looking for him and he was in a terrible condition..."

They could tell it was such a traumatizing event for Jimin, his tone and his gaze were sorrowful. "When I found him, he didn't say anything. He didn't even let anyone get close to him. I brought him to Singapore and it took months for him to finally accept me but up until now, he doesn't want to talk. He keeps quiet and sometimes throws tantrums when things don't get his way or someone tries to approach him. During his tantrum, he can't be controlled, he will bite everyone."

Taehyung and Jin stared at each other as they both were shocked. They didn't expect that it would be this tragic.

"After it happened I cut contact with everyone so people would think that we were dead. Then Joonie will be safe."

At that moment, Jimin couldn't tell Y/N about Joon Min just yet. He didn't want her to worry, he didn't want her to see Joon Min like this.

Krystal knew Y/N was hospitalized, she then went there to visit.

"Doctor Jung, you can go back to your work. I will take care of Y/N." Krystal said.

He nodded: "Okay, Ms Jung. Please take care of her."

After he left, Krystal snorted: "Please take care of her? Does he regard me as a stranger to you? He is acting like your boyfriend."
