"I'm sorry, I'm busy." Jimin's tone was cold, like he was talking to a total stranger.
"Let's go." The old man said.
Y/N finally knew for sure that Jimin was alive but she just wanted to meet Joon Min, she just wanted to ask Jimin about him.
She hurriedly chased after him but she was stopped by Jimin's bodyguard. "Sorry Miss, you can't get any closer."
Y/N tried to escape them but they kept blocking her way. She could only watch as Jimin disappeared before her eyes. Her heart was getting anxious.
Because Y/N still hadn't returned to the party, Uncle Yoon was worried so he tried to call her again while looking for her and finally he found her. He saw she was being stopped by two guards and she was yelling: "Let me go!"
Uncle Yoon was panicking and immediately rushed to her. He then pushed those two men: "What do you think you're doing?"
Those men looked at him: "Who are you?"
But Uncle Yoon ignored his question: "What our you doing to Ms Song?"
The men noticed that Jimin had left so they let them go.
"Ms Song, are you okay?"
But she didn't answer him and went downstairs hurriedly. Uncle Yoon was startled and followed Y/N running to the entrance of the hotel to chase him. As she ran after Jimin, her heart was racing with desperation and fear. She had to catch him before he disappeared again. But as she reached his car and pounded on his window, she could see that the driver was already behind the wheel and starting to pull away.
She tried to shout his name, to plead with him to stop, but the car didn't stop. She felt a wave of sadness and regret wash over her as she watched him disappear down the road.
It had never occurred to her that their lives, which had been closely interwoven, could unravel with such speed. If she'd known, maybe she'd kept a tighter hold of them and not let unseen tides pull them apart.
Uncle Yoon ran to chase her and stopped her: "What happened? Whose car is it?"
Y/N still wanted to chase the car but Uncle Yoon stopped her again. "There's no point to chase the car, you won't be able to chase them." He paused: "Who was it?"
Uncle Yoon kept asking her questions but she didn't answer any of them. He was helpless and took her back to their hotel.
"Was it Joonie's mother?" Lisa turned her head to look at Jimin.
Jimin was staring at the window and nodded.
She was a bit confused: "How could she come here? She lives in Seoul, isn't she?"
"Looks like we accidentally met." Jimin leaned on the car seat and patted his legs.
The car ride was quiet after that, Lisa understood Jimin didn't want to talk about it anymore so she stopped asking questions.
Jimin closed his eyes and ordered the driver to take Lisa back first then he wanted to go to the rehabilitation center after. Lisa immediately turned her head and stared at the handsome man beside her: "You want to see Joonie?"
"He will be discharged soon."
"The doctor has allowed him out?" Lisa frowned. "He keeps resisting other people except us, nobody can get close to him still. I don't think it's a good idea..."
Jimin didn't say anything. Lisa wanted to go with him but Jimin rejected the idea
He went there alone. It was a private school for troubled kids. Because it was already late, the school didn't allow anyone to come but today, there were some accidents. The teachers and employees seemed to be relieved to see Jimin's appearance.
