Chapter 44

"Nothing. Jungkook is back and he just apologized that he had no idea of what happened to me because he was in a big problem." Y/N explained.

"What problem?"

She tidied up her things and put them inside her bag and gazed at Jimin. "It's their own family matters. Some of them are striving for power and position. He said that he almost lost his life..."

Jimin hugged Y/N's shoulder and went out of the changing room. "Jeon Jungkook has a brother, right?"

Y/N was surprised. "How did you know?"

This could be counted as the Jeon family's scandal. Jungkook indeed had a half-brother from his father. He had an affair but he hid it, he quietly placed his bastard kid inside the company. His parents weren't on good terms for years, they just pretended to be a loving couple in public. They weren't divorced and stayed married to keep their reputation.

In fact, they both already had someone else and made an agreement to not intervene in each other's private life. Before they lived separately, they already promised not to have another child to protect Jungkook's position. But his father had another child, he was just a few years younger than him.

Jungkook found out about this a few years ago. His mother was a very powerful and competent woman. The Jeon company was in their position now because of her so she had a huge influence in the company. That was the reason his father didn't dare to mess with her.

Of course, in his mother's perspective, the company should be handed down to Jungkook. But his father wanted his other son to also get a position in the company. He loved his other son more as he also loved his mother more. Even though everyone knew that Jungkook should be the sole successor, a lot of people wanted to bring him down.

After they went out, Jimin bent his waist and carried Joon Min. He put him on the backseat and Y/N went to the passenger seat. She was thinking about their discussion about the Jeon family.

Jimin got in the car and Y/N turned her head to look at him. "Jimin, do you have another brother?" She joked.

Jimin placed his hand on the steering wheel, then turned his head to her. He raised his eyebrows. "If I had one and lost my position to him, would you still stay by my side?"

Y/N smirked and shook her head. "Don't you always think that I trapped you into a marriage for your money, power, and status? Do you think I would stay with you if you don't have anything?"

Jimin sighed in sadness. "Didn't I apologize and admit my mistake already?"

Y/N laughed and patted his hand, she didn't want to annoy him anymore. "Let's go."

It was a sunny day, being inside the zoo would be burning hot. Y/N asked Jimin to stop the car beside the shop. She wanted to buy a hat and an umbrella for Joon Min. She also bought several bottles of water.

Joon Min was excited, he wanted to walk by himself but Jimin was carrying him. "Daddy, I want to walk by myself."

"No, it's too crowded here. You can walk by yourself when it's less crowded." Jimin said.

They went to the other side of the zoo and it was not really crowded. Joon Min was impatient to get down from his embrace. "Daddy, I want to go down."

Y/N understood that Jimin was being considerate of Joon Min's well being so he wanted to carry him, protecting him. But it was not really crowded now, so she pulled Jimin's arm. "Let him go. It's okay, we can hold his hands."

Jimin nodded and placed him down. They both held his hands and walked around. "What do you want to see, Joonie?"

"Mom, I want to see elephants."
