"It's still early." Grandma peeked inside of the room. "Is Y/N okay?"
"She's okay. She is asleep." Jimin smiled.
"Then it's good. Follow me to the study room, I have something to say to you."
Jimin nodded, he supposed that Grandma wanted to talk about Jun Seo. Leaving the room, he held Grandma to help her walk to the study room.
"What happened to Jun Seo? Is he the mastermind of all this trouble?"
Jimin scoffed. "I doubt it. He's not that great."
Grandma nodded in agreement. They knew, someone like Jun Seo could only be a puppet. He couldn't possibly have planned such a detailed scheme.
Previously, the Song family was an influential and powerful family in Seoul. They were brilliant, it was a golden era for the Song family when Jun Seo's parents were still alive. But after Jun Seo took charge of the family company, it kept getting closer to its downfall. Jun Seo was not a good leader, wherever he goes, trouble follows.
Grandma had no doubt that one day the Song family would be completely ruined in Jun Seo's hand. Especially now he offended the Park family, she obviously wouldn't let him go.
"Who else is involved?"
Jimin took a seat across Grandma, his brow darkened as his lips pursed together. "He was in touch with Kim Yugyeom."
Grandma was confused. "Who is Kim Yugyeom?"
"Jeon Jungkook's assistant."
"Is he the mastermind of all this?" Grandma raised her eyebrow.
Jimin leaned on the sofa, staring at the ceiling. He shook his head. "We don't know that yet."
"How did you find Kim Yugyeom?"
Jimin then told Grandma the entire story. Indeed, it was not a simple scheme.
"Have Taehyung interrogate him to find who is behind all this."
"He's on it, Grandma. Let's see how it goes tomorrow."
Grandma's face turned dark, she kept thinking about the possibility of Jungkook's involvement. "If it's Jeon Jungkook, why did he do it?"
Every plan had its own motivation behind it, she wanted to analyze every possibility.
Jimin shrugged. "If that's the case, the only possibility was for Y/N."
Grandma turned silent. Being alive up to this day, she could understand a lot of things easily. After all, being this old, she had been seeing a lot of things happen. She couldn't easily believe Jungkook was the one behind this just because his assistant was involved.
But according to Jimin, she could conclude that indeed Jungkook was now one of the suspects. The only thing she doubted was that since Jungkook was deeply in love with Y/N, how could he be willing to deliberately hurt her?
"Grandma." Jimin suddenly said. "Do you know that the Jeon family has an illegitimate son? Jeon Jungkook's brother from a different mother."
Even though Grandma had retired from the business for years, it didn't mean that she completely neglected it. She still had a lot of information from her informants all over the city.
"Yes. Jeon Wonwoo. He is now working in the Jeon company but his position in the company is not that good. I supposed, he is in a fight with Jeon Jungkook at the moment."
Jimin nodded. "I'm a bit suspicious of Jeon Wonwoo, do you think he took part in this?"
Grandma was silent. She frowned, making the wrinkles around her mouth deepen. "You mean that Jeon Wonwoo possibly bribed Kim Yugyeom?"
