A/N: This is the final chapter of "Don't Let Me Go". Thank you all for reading, and please read the note at the end!

Krystal's day was significantly better after her long rest. The rejuvenating sleep had done wonders for her mood. She decided to revisit the food stall she had been to the previous night with Taehyung, craving the same delicious dishes. She ordered quite a bit, prompting the owner's surprise.

The owner commented, "Are you going to finish all of this, Ms?"

Krystal turned her head to answer when a man suddenly sat down in front of her. They both glanced at him, and the owner left, smiling. Taemin cleaned her chopsticks for her, a gesture she didn't appreciate. She pushed his hand away, and the chopsticks fell.

Annoyed, she asked, "What are you doing here?"

Taemin simply smiled, not answering her question. Krystal realized that he must have seen her with Taehyung last night and used that knowledge to track her down. She shivered, feeling trapped.

"What do you want?" she asked, her patience wearing thin.

Taemin's smile widened. "You're becoming more like her."

Krystal pushed his hand away again. "If you want someone like her, you can easily find someone else and dress her the same. With your power and position now, many women would be willing to do that. Why are you bothering me?"

"I don't want anyone else," Taemin replied, his smile unwavering. "I only want you."

Krystal couldn't bear Taemin's presence any longer; his smile had become utterly terrifying to her. She lost her appetite and decided it was time to leave. As she stood up to make her escape, Taemin remained seated, his gaze fixed downwards.

As she hurried to her car and sped away, Taemin's words echoed in her mind: "I will never let you go, Krystal." The sheer possessiveness in his tone chilled her to the bone.

Driving home, she couldn't shake the fear that Taemin's obsession with her was far from over. She massaged her temples, trying to calm her racing thoughts. Her phone rang, and she glanced at the screen, seeing Taehyung's name. In her anxious state, she hung up without answering.

Krystal knew that Taemin was not driven by love but rather by an unsettling desire to possess her. She feared for Taehyung's safety, understanding that Taemin's warning was directed at her, and she resolved to keep her distance from him to protect those she cared about.

Krystal seethed with anger, but she was painfully aware of her lack of power in the face of Taemin's relentless pursuit. She felt trapped, unable to see any way to break free.

Throughout the day, Taehyung was occupied with various responsibilities, finally finding a moment to call Krystal. However, her abrupt hang-up left him unsettled, and he found himself fixated on his phone until Jimin offered a reassuring pat on the shoulder.

Despite their diligent efforts, they were still unable to locate Joo Hyuk. Taehyung's focus sharpened as he suggested driving to their next destination, a two-hour journey. Jimin concurred, his thoughts drifting to the potential outcome of their search. There were moments when he wished he could simply forget about Joo Hyuk, considering him useless. Even during their grandmother's funeral, Joo Hyuk had failed to make an appearance, disappearing from Seoul for the past two years. Yet, he remained the only son of their late grandmother, making it difficult to simply abandon him. Jimin was determined to methodically resolve the issues within the Park family, one by one.

Jimin had already tracked down the man seen leaving with his mother, Ae Ra. Their conversation had revealed that his feelings for her had been purely platonic. His wife had been aware of their close friendship, and the revelation of his connection to Ae Ra had stirred deep emotions within him.
