Chapter 19

Seulgi bowed to the press and made her leave. The flash of the cameras were blinding, she lowered her head as she walked towards the door. Of course she had bodyguards there to guard her. When she walked outside, it was crowded, people were waiting for her.

"Miss Kim, is it true that you paid your fans to push Mrs Park?" One of the reporters asked, forcing her to answer. "Miss Kim?"

Despite having her bodyguards there still couldn't prevent the rage of the public. Someone in the crowd threw several eggs at her and they landed straight to her body.

Seulgi gasped as the woman successfully threw the egg right on her head, the broken egg fell on her hair and face. Because it was so sudden, people in the surrounding area were startled. There was a long silence, even the bodyguards froze. They didn't do anything.

"You're an evil bitch!" She shouted. "Shame on you! You tried to kill a baby, you're a killer!" She added.

But not long after she shouted, people came to their senses. Her words provoked the crowd as they started blaming her and calling Seulgi a third party. The situation was out of control.

The woman who threw the eggs was a middle-aged woman. She came prepared, it was obvious. It didn't seem to bother her the slightest when the bodyguard caught her, she looked calm and looked at Seulgi and said: "Kim Seulgi, you are a homewrecker. You specialize in ruining other people's marriage."

It was becoming more and more chaotic, the bodyguards almost failed to keep it under control. Seulgi left the scene hurriedly, she rushed up to her car that was waiting in the front. Her assistants and Ms Bae followed her behind.

She didn't even realize she had eggs all over her body until her assistant passed her a box of tissues. Ms Bae gazed at her and asked: "Are you okay, Seulgi?"

But she was silent and didn't say anything. Her body was trembling with rage. She wiped herself and angrily threw the tissues to the other side. There was still a trace of egg on her face so her assistant cautiously helped her to wipe it but she turned her face and glared at her. The assistant stopped, didn't dare to look her in the eyes.

"Ms Bae, where are we going? Are we sending Ms Kim home now?" The driver asked.

"What home should I go back to? Send me to the hospital!" Seulgi immediately answered with an annoyed tone.

Ms Bae turned her gaze on her. "What happened? Are you hurt?" She was worried about her.

"I sprained my leg." Seulgi pointed at her ankle. She hurt her leg while rushing to avoid the uncontrolled crowd.

"Hurry up, take her to the hospital!" Ms Bae immediately commanded.

This could lead to a bigger problem because she was in the middle of a hectic schedules. She had to be in her best condition. But if she hurt her leg, they might have to postpone the shoot. Because of her recent scandal, she obviously couldn't ask for permission to change her schedule. It would ruin her reputation and make it harder for her to get a job in the future.

When the driver finally could break away from the paparazzi surrounding their car, he sped up the car to hide from them and stopped somewhere safe for Seulgi, Ms Bae, and one of her assistants to take the taxi to the hospital. They had to avoid being followed by the paparazzi.

After the doctor checked her injury, he suggested that she should not move much for several days and it was best for her to stay in the hospital so they could monitor her injury. She quickly refused: "I can't stay in the hospital, I have schedules."

The doctor smiled at her and said: "It is just my suggestion as your doctor, Ms Kim. But if you insist on leaving then I won't force you. But I have to remind you that the location of your injury is the same as your previous one when you had a car accident. This could lead to a bigger problem." She left the room after she said it.
