Chapter 74

A/N: You reap what you sow.

"After finding Joonie, take him away from this city temporarily. It's not safe for him to stay here." Jimin continued: "Also, check on my lawyer's background."

"I will." Taehyung nodded as he also felt something fishy about that lawyer.

After he left, he gave Y/N a call and told her that Jimin didn't sign the paper. "He said he doesn't believe you will do something like that to him." He explained. "He also wants you to come and say it to him directly then he will sign it."

Y/N didn't wait until he finished his words and hung up the phone.

Taehyung stared at his screen before sighed and shook his head. He booked a ticket and told people that since Jimin was in jail, he wanted to take a rest and returned to Daegu. But when he was in the airport, he bought a new ticket to Ilsan.

Before getting on the plane, he already contacted Kim Namjoon.

Even though they don't communicate frequently, when one of them is in trouble, the other one will help no matter what. That's what their friendship looks like.

After receiving a call from Y/N, she didn't come. She knew Jimin was in the hospital and she missed him terribly. But she was afraid that her expression would destroy her acting.

Taemin gave her a call: "I really underestimate Jimin's feelings for you. When you gave him the paper, he got hurt and sent to the hospital yet you didn't even visit him and gave him another divorce paper. But he still believed that you would never betray him." He chuckled. "What should we do to make him give up on you, should I think of another way?"

Y/N was panicking: "What do you want?"

He laughed: "Are you scared? I'm helping you, okay?"

"Helping me?" She chuckled.

"I think of a way." Taemin suddenly said.

Y/N didn't say anything, if only she could just hung up the phone. She couldn't stand talking to this man anymore.

"You can testify against Jimin in court. I guarantee that he will be disappointed in you. What do you think?" He said it as if they were discussing.

"Keep dreaming!"

"Should I ask Joon Min then?"

"Lee Taemin, if you dare to lay your filthy hand on him, I will sue you!" Y/N yelled.

Taemin laughed. "Sue me? Then do it. I have done a lot of things but nobody has sued me." He paused: "Oh right, Krystal tried once. But you were there to witness the result, right?"
He continued: "You think by provoking me, I will let Joon Min go? Or do you think just because he is only a little boy that I will just let him go?"

Hearing his words, Y/N tried to calm herself down. She bit her lip. "What do you want me to do?"

Y/N was furious but at the same time, she was under a lot of pressure. She couldn't possibly gamling on her son's life, she knew what Taemin capable of. He wouldn't even think twice to harm Joon Min if she refused his order.

"For Jimin's case, the evidence is not sufficient. Even though they found his phone on the scene, it couldn't prove he did anything. The CCTV was broken and there was only a nurse that said Jimin was fighting with Park Joo Hyuk right before the old woman died."

"Because you had people to ruin the CCTV." Y/N said coldly.

When the hospital called the police to the crime scene, the first thing they checked was the CCTV. But of course Taemin already had people to ruin it. They could only find Jimin's phone inside and based on the nurse's testimony, Jimin had a physical fight inside the crime scene.
