T/W: This chapter might be bitter to some.
Shin Ji had prepared breakfast for her.
There were not a lot of employees inside the Song residence, there were only the old butler, a maid, and a driver.
Shin Ji placed a glass of milk in front of Y/N before taking a seat. "Y/N, you need to eat more. You look skinny."
"No, I am normal." Y/N took a bite of her bread.
"You look skinnier, you need to take care of your health. You may not be able to marry..." Shin Ji shook her head.
Y/N felt strange, she shrugged and didn't say anything.
Shin Ji knew that she didn't like to hear about those things but she thought she needed to say it. "It's been two years, Y/N. Are you still waiting for him?"
"Ma, I'm not waiting for him."
"Then listen to me, my friend wants to introduce you to someone. He is a doctor, I already met him once and he is a good guy. He is so polite..." Shin Ji said. "He is good, believe me. He knows about your matter but he doesn't care..."
"Ma!" Y/N cut her off
Shin Ji glared at her: "Don't cut me off. I don't want to do this either but I can't just watch you keep on waiting for him. Listen to me and go meet him, okay? Perhaps you will like him. You can't wait for Jimin forever, right?"
She continued: "Looking at my health, I don't know how long I will last. If you keep refusing my advice..." Shin Ji's eyes turned red. "Do you want me to worry?"
"Okay, Okay. I promise, okay? Please don't cry..."
Shin Ji smiled and pointed her chopsticks at her: "You need to remember your promise."
Y/N nodded and continued to eat. She didn't know why she agreed to this. A blind date? This is simply too absurd.
After they finished their breakfast, someone came to the Song residence and the butler asked the guest to wait in the living room. When Shin Ji and Y/N went there, the guest stood up and smiled. "Madame Song, Ms Song."
"Uncle Yoon, sit down." Y/N poured him tea. "Is something happening in Song company?"
He smiled: "Not really a problem, it's just we have a project in Singapore and we need you to be there at the launching party."
He was Jun Seo's assistant but now he was in charge of the company. The Song company was not as great as before but they still needed a Song family member to attend some occasions. Even though Y/N didn't understand business very well, she usually helped with the project.
"When is it?"
"We're going to leave tomorrow morning, I will come and pick you up." He smiled.
Shin Ji frowned. "But you have a blind date tomorrow."
"Ma!" Y/N glared at her.
"It won't take a long time, Madame. We will come back soon."
After they sent him off, Shin Ji gazed at Y/N who was smiling. "You look very pleased to leave tomorrow, are you that happy that you don't need to go on this blind date?"
Y/N nodded. "I'm happy, why shouldn't I be happy?"
Shin Ji snorted: "Don't be too happy, I will set another date when you return from Singapore. Don't even try to make excuses later." She poked Y/N's forehead.
Y/N went to work after breakfast as she was quite busy nowadays and usually stayed in the office until late. Shin Ji got annoyed because of how workaholic she was. She was always the earliest one to arrive at work.
