Chapter 39

The door was opened and Jin got inside. He stood beside her and stared at Jimin. "We were hanging out earlier tonight, Taemin was also there. He pretended to be drunk so you would come to get him." He continued, "But I guess he got really drunk after that."

"He told me and Taemin about your plan to divorce him. We have been best friends for so many years, but it was really the first time for me to see him afraid." He looked at Y/N who was still crying her eyes out. "You know how arrogant he is, he isn't afraid of anything. But Y/N, he's really afraid of losing you."

Y/N wiped her tears but her tears kept falling down. She tried to raise her head to look at Jimin, she placed her hand on his face. "Jimin, I am sorry." She paused. "Just wake up, please. I will do whatever you ask me to, I won't divorce you. I will never leave you, we're going to be together forever. Please, as long as you wake up, I promise." She said as she was thinking it could change the fact.

But suddenly she was held into an embrace by a pair of strong arms. "Really?" Jimin whispered to her ear.

Y/N's whole body went stiff, she went blank. Her tears were on the corner of her eyes.

Jimin then let her go and held her hands. He stared at her: "Is it true? As long as I wake up, will you do everything I ask you to? You will never leave me and never divorce me?"

She hadn't processed what was happening. "Park Jimin, you..." She couldn't believe her eyes, was she dreaming? How could a lifeless man hug her and talk to her? She could also feel his heartbeat but why couldn't she feel it before?

It was because she saw him there on the bed, her heart dropped. She stopped breathing as her whole world was collapsing, she didn't pay attention to anything else. She really thought he was gone.

"So, will you keep your promises?" Jimin impatiently asked her again.

But Y/N's attention was not on it. "You lied to me!" She was furious and started hitting his shoulder. "Park Jimin, this isn't funny! You are so evil! You have deceived me!"

She really fell for it. She really thought he was dead and wouldn't wake up ever again. She was on the verge of losing her mind! 

Jimin hissed in pain but he didn't dodge. He just let her vent her anger on him. He waited until she calmed down then pointed at their surroundings. "Dad, Grandma, also Taemin and Krystal. Oh right, even this witchdoctor. They all also participate."

She was startled to find out that they all knew about Jimin's little drama show and they even joined him. She was completely deceived.

Being called a 'witchdoctor' made Jin chuckle coldly. "He is the mastermind, we all just accomplices. These are all his ideas." Jimin noticed Y/N's irritating face and glared at him, trying to send him a message to shut his mouth. But Jin raised his eyebrow, challenging him if he dared to call him a witchdoctor again.

Grandma smiled and patted her shoulder. "Y/N, he is afraid that you will divorce him. That's why he did all these. I didn't like this either but I could only reluctantly agree to help him."

Krystal chuckled lightly. "Grandma, your acting was really good. You deserve an Oscar!"

Grandma didn't understand what it was and asked: "What is it?"

"It's an award for the best actress in movies." Krystal smiled.

The compliment made Grandma grin from ear to ear, being proud of herself.

"Okay now, Jimin actually really got into an accident. Send him to the patient room." She ordered. "You have troubled us all to help you. We won't help you next time!"
