Y/N couldn't help but wonder why Jimin would even care if she missed him or not. They had been divorced for quite some time, and he already had a fiancé anyway.

"Why would he care if I miss him? It's been years since our divorce, and he's moving forward with someone else. I shouldn't even give it a second thought." She muttered to herself. "It's not like I need his permission to go to this blind date anyway..."

Y/N tried to call him again several times until she gave up and threw her phone away.

The next day, as Y/N was getting ready for the evening, her phone buzzed incessantly. She picked it up to find a series of missed calls from her mother, along with a text message that read, "Don't forget, you have a date tonight!"

As Y/N left the office, she couldn't help but notice a man waiting for her in front of his car. Panic surged through her, and she quickly considered taking a detour to avoid the encounter. However, as she attempted to change her route, the man's gaze locked onto her, indicating that he had already seen her.

Hoseok waved and opened the car door, "Y/N, I'm here to pick you up for dinner."

Y/N realized she couldn't avoid the situation any longer, so she reluctantly got inside Hoseok's car. With a mix of apprehension and resignation, she mustered up a polite smile and said, "Thank you."

"You're welcome, Y/N. I'm glad you decided to join me tonight. I think we'll have a great time."

"Yes, let's see how it goes." She said, forcing herself to maintain composure.

Hoseok smiled and started driving his car. "So, Y/N, do you have any preferences for dinner? Any specific cuisine you'd like to try?"

"Anything is okay, I'm not picky." She leaned on the window, quietly sighing.

"There's a charming little Italian restaurant nearby if you'd like to give it a try." Hoseok offered.

"Sure."

As they arrived at the restaurant, Y/N couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity. Memories of Krystal raving about this place when it first opened flooded her mind. Supposedly Hoseok did a bit of research on great restaurants in the area, he even made a reservation ahead of time.

The server handed her the menu, she perused the options and selected a variety of dishes that caught her interest before passing the menu to Hoseok.

He only glanced at the menu briefly, before saying: "You know what, Y/N? You've actually picked my favorite dish. I'll have the same as you."

"Would you like to try one of their fine wines? I've heard they have an excellent selection." Hoseok gestured towards the wine list.

"Thank you for the offer, but I think I'll pass on the wine tonight. I don't want to risk it since you're the one driving us home."

Hoseok nodded understandingly. "That's a responsible decision. I appreciate your consideration. Safety should always come first."

As the waiter brought their dishes to the table, Y/N couldn't help but admire the presentation. The aroma blowing from the plates was tantalizing, and the food looked appetizing. However, she realized that her appetite wasn't as strong as she had anticipated.

She took small bites, savoring the taste of each dish. She tried her best to enjoy the food, not wanting to dampen the evening with her diminished appetite.

Their conversation continued to flow as they savored their meal. Hoseok carried on the conversation while Y/N only responded to him.

However, as if drawn by an invisible force, she felt a tingling sensation on her skin, prompting her to look up.
