Adalynn, Bailey, and Julian sat cross-legged in a circle in the tree house in the backyard of the Hummel house. The girls knew they needed a safe place to tell the older boy the news, and the tree house seemed like the best bet.
"So, is there a reason you two forced me to come into this cramped tree house?" Julian asked. "Adalynn, we're not little kids anymore."
"I know, but this is important," the brunette said. "Bailey doesn't want anyone else knowing yet, and at least no one can eavesdrop on us if we're up here."
"What's going on?"
Adalynn and Bailey exchanged a look before looking back to Julian, who crossed his arms and looked at them with a bored expression.
"I'm pregnant."
Julian's eyes widened in shock. He uncrossed his arms and looked between the two younger girls, waiting for them to say that it was some sort of joke.
"Bailey, are you serious?" Julian asked. "You're not just messing with me? Are you sure?"
"Yes," Bailey nodded, tears filling her eyes. "I have 13 positive tests to prove it."
"I hope you're happy, Julian," Adalynn said, crossing her arms and glaring up at her cousin. "You're a fucking idiot. You've always been a fucking idiot. This is the stupidest thing you've ever done."
"Bailey... I'm so sorry," the older boy said, eyes still wide.
"You're sorry?!" Adalynn yelled, standing up. "No, no. Sorry is not going to cut it! You're gonna be a fucking dad, Julian! You knocked up the sweetest girl at our school who's sister is going to fucking murder you when she finds out! Santana will too! And all you can say is 'sorry?!'"
"Adalynn, calm down," Bailey said as she stood up, placing a hand on her friend's arm. "It's okay."
"No, it's not okay," Julian said, also standing up. "It's my fault. I'll own up to that. I didn't have protection, which was my fault. Drunk or not... it shouldn't have happened. It was a mistake. My mistake. I'll go to your parents and explain everything."
"Yeah, if you're not dead before then," Adalynn said, lunging at her cousin and tackling him to the floor of the tree house.
"Guys!" Bailey cried, trying to pull the brunette off of the older boy. "Ada, stop!"
"You're fucking dead, Julian!"
"What's going on up there?"
The three froze as they heard Burt's voice. Adalynn got up off of Julian and poked her head out, smiling innocently at her dad.
"It's nothing, Daddy," the younger Hummel said. "We're just practicing for my stage fighting unit in theatre."
"That tree house isn't strong enough to support three teenagers horse playing," said Burt. "Come down before any of you get hurt. The school bus is going to be here soon."
"Okay." Adalynn turned and pointed a finger at Julian. "This isn't over, stink brain."
The brunette ducked out of the little door and climbed down the ladder, Bailey and Julian following moments later.

Adalynn sat in the back of the classroom next to Quinn, her head resting in the blonde's lap as she threaded her fingers through the younger girl's hair. Glee Club had been particularly boring that day as their teacher hadn't yet come up with an assignment for the week.
"Mr. Schue?" Finn spoke up. "I have something to say. Something happened to me, and I can't really get into it but it's shaken me to my core."
"Oh my god, he's coming out," Puck teased.
