"Do any of you guys want to catch a matinee tomorrow?" Kurt asked as everyone sat at a booth in the Spotlight Diner. "I have a late shift at the diner and I know Funny Girl's dark."
"Dark as in there are no performances or dark as in it's kind of a downer?" Santana asked.
"Sorry, Kurtie," Adalynn sighed. "I wish I could, but I have my final audition for Dynasty tomorrow.
"I would love to go, but June's got me taken up with dinners and rehearsals," said Blaine.
"I'm gonna be in the recording studio all day," Bailey shrugged.
"Mommy a singer," Maya grinned as she ate her scrambled eggs.
"This is terrible," Rachel suddenly spoke up, whining as she looked at her phone. "Look what I just found on BroadwayBuzzer.com."
"I'll take that," Adalynn smirked, snatching the diva's phone, her smirk widening as she read the headline. "'Liar, liar, Fanny on fire!'"
"Shh!"
"'What Broadway starlet has been calling in sick while secretly pursuing other opportunities?'"
"Addie, could you maybe not read that so loud?" Quinn asked as she looked around the diner. "People are staring."
"'Unnamed sources say producers are none too happy with the burgeoning diva's shenanigans, and wager that this starlet will burn out faster than you can say, 'Milwaukee dinner theatre in the round.''"
"I missed one show," Rachel said, snatching her phone back from Adalynn.
"Rachel, you should be glad that they don't know you're seriously considering leaving your show to do a TV pilot," Tina said as she wiped pancake syrup off of Ava's face and hands.
"Mama, stooooop," Ava whined, jerking away from Tina.
"Sweetie, your hands are sticky."
"I donts care!"
"Ava Gracelynn," Adalynn said, sending the three-year-old a stern look. She cocked a brow. "Listen to your mom and cooperate, or I'm not gonna bring Oreo with us to the park."
"Fine," Ava grumbled, allowing Tina to wipe her hands clean. When she was done, Ava reached across the table to take one of her sister's strawberries, quickly placing it in her mouth when she turned back around.
Maya frowned, scrunching her brows together as she looked at her plate. She looked up, eyes narrowing on her twin. "Ava, you stole!"
"I didn't do it," Ava lied with a sweet smile as she looked at the green-eyed blonde beside her. "Lulu did."
"I did not!" Quinn gasped. "You little liar."
"You mean!" Maya yelled, as she made a move to jump across the table to hit her sister, only for Bailey to grab her.
"Maya Katelynn," Bailey warned. "Do not hit your sister. Ava, apologize for taking Maya's food."
"No," Ava grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest. She looked to Adalynn for help, whining when the brunette intentionally avoided her gaze. She sighed and met her twin's matching blue eyes. "I sorry."
"It okay," Maya mumbled.
"This is terrible, okay?" Rachel said, bringing the focus back to her. "I cannot be branded a problem child this early in my career. I might be ambitious, but I'm not a bad person."
"I good," the older twin said as she sipped her orange juice.
"I bad," Ava pouted as she leaned her head onto Quinn's arm.
