Things seemed to be going okay with Billy. The tension from the other night faded quickly. Neither of you had mentioned Eddie or the fight again. You went about your days as usual. Coffee, work, dinner, sex. Not always in that order. You tried to focus on Billy. You really did love him and you didn't want to lose him.

You were just so confused. You had found a note in your mailbox a few days ago. "Hope everything is okay. I miss talking to you. Been working on something I think you'll like. Eds." You burned the note after reading it. You had felt the urge to go to his house and see him but you didn't. You had pushed it out of your mind.

"Have you seen my belt, babe?" Billy called from the bedroom. You had a quick flashback from the other night when he used the belt to tie your hands together. You think you still had a welt on your ass from that day but it was the best kind of pain. It made you tingle. "It might have fallen beside the bed," you yelled back at him.

He walked out a minute later buckling it up. "Do you have to go?" you pouted at him. "I'll be back in the morning, babe." he said. You stood up to give him a hug. You put your head against his chest and listened to his heartbeat. "You gonna survive without me?," he said looking down at you. "Maybe, maybe not." you squeezed him tighter.

He grabbed your chin and kissed you. "You smell good," you said reaching up to run your fingers through his curls. He leaned down and kissed you again. "I'll see you in the morning." You walked him to the door, locking it behind him. You watched his headlights disappear down the road.

You crawled in bed and fell asleep pretty quickly. You were awaken by a tapping on your window. What the hell? You got out of bed and walked over to peak through your blinds. You were met with a big smile and a little wave.

You opened the window. "Eddie, you can't be here." you whispered even though you were completely alone. "I know it's late and I'm sorry, I just really needed to see you." he slurred. "Are you drunk?" you asked him. "Just a teensy bit," he said holding his index finger and thumb close together to show you.

"Can I just come in for a second?" He pleaded at you with those big eyes. "Five minutes." you said moving out of the way so he could come in. He clumsily fell through your window and onto the floor. "Oops a daisy," he laughed. You reached to grab his hand to pull him up but he pulled you down to the floor instead.

"Eddie," you groaned. He looked at you smiling ear to ear. God, he was adorable. "We have to talk," you said seriously, trying to focus. "Yes ma'am," he replied, giving you a salute with his hand. You sat cross legged in front of him on the floor.

"What happened between us, it can't happen again.." you started, "I have a boyfriend and I never should have let that happen" you continued not looking at him. "It's not that I don't like you, believe me, it's just.... Complicated. It's not right. But I want you to know that I did have fun with you. You're really special Eddie."

You glanced up at him for the first time since you started talking. He was staring at you, his smile had faded. "I didn't mean to fuck things up for you, y/n," he said. "I just, well I really like you. You're so funny, and kind, and smart. And that ass... whew" he said his smile returning slightly.

"It's not your fault, Eddie," you said grabbing his hand, "I shouldn't have let it get this far." "I'll always be here, if you change your mind." He said squeezing your hand. "Can I uh, can I kiss you, one last time?" he asked, his hand coming up to your cheek. You leaned in and put your forehead against his. Your lips inches apart. You closed the gap in between you, kissing him lightly.

His lips were soft and warm. You pulled back after a second but he grabbed the back of your head and brought your lips together again. Your lips parted allowing his tongue to slip inside. He tasted of beer and weed. It was an intense but incredibly gentle kiss. His tongue exploring the inside of your mouth delicately.

Your bodies pressed together as your kiss deepened. You were breathing each other in. Your hands tangled in his hair as he kissed you. The kiss felt intimate. It was filled with raw emotion. Your heart fluttered in your chest.

"Eddie," you broke the kiss. Both of you were breathless. "I'm sorry." you said looking at him gently. He nodded as he stood up, "Goodbye y/n, I'll miss you." And he climbed out the window. "I'll miss you, too." you said but he was already gone.
