"What?" Chuuya asks Dazai, who is just gazing at him.

"Nothing, it's just I'm trying to think if I'm sitting in front of a beautiful lady or a slug." Dazai smiles, continuing to admire him.

"Shut up, you chose this outfit." Chuuya rolls his eyes. "I don't even look that feminine."

"And you went with the outfit!" All Chuuya was actually wearing was a turtleneck and a necklace. He also had his hair in a bun. Why did he look so beautiful in it, though?

".. Enough with your jokes, I'm getting hungry."

Chuuya and Dazai were out to eat, but Dazai thought of it as a date. Even if he has never confessed his feelings. He's given Chuuya hints, but.. he can't tell very well when he does.

Is it only because Dazai was an alpha and Chuuya was an unmarked omega? Is it only because alphas and omegas belong together? He didn't care about any of that, though. His love felt true.

They've been rivals but partners at the same time, since Chuuya transferred to his high school.

One time, Dazai wanted to play a prank on Chuuya by hiding his heat suppressants. He was never really taught about omegas, so.. it ended up very interesting, I guess. He was kicked out of the room, while some betas had to help him look for the pills.

After they finished eating, Dazai suggested that they spend more time out. It's rare they both get to actually have a week off, they work at companies who are practically rivals. If they were to be caught, it'd end up with a long scolding.

Chuuya agreed, and they went out walking, then sitting on a bench under a tree.

"When do you plan on going home?" Chuuya says, basically throwing bread crumbs at a duck.

"Do you already want to leave me? Let's spend more time together.~" Dazai says, whispering in Chuuya's ear.

"Stop that!" Chuuya blushes, and smacks his head.

Dazai laughed, and saw two girls whisper, looking in Dazai's direction.

"Hm?"

They start to approach him, and catch Chuuya's attention.

"U-Um.. hello, mister..!" One girl says, shyly.

"Me?" Dazai asks.

"Yeah! Hi there, I think my friend here likes you! She said that you look pretty!" The taller girl steps in front of her.

"H-Hey! Stop that..! You're making me sound like a creep!"

Dazai stares back at them, and blinks.

"Uh.. thanks..?" He smiles at them.

"Can she get your number?"

"I'm going to get a drink." Chuuya gets up, and tries his best to not make it visible he's angry. He failed.

They watch him storm off to a vending machine, and they ask what that was all about.

"Sorry, as much as I'd like to accept your offer, I'm not looking for a relationship." That was the only excuse he could think of. "And I just fought with my friend there, you probably caught him in a bad mood."

"O-Oh.." the small girl says, and the other wraps her arm around her.

"It's okay! You'll find someone one day. I hope you get along soon! Have a good day, sir!" They both walk away, waving.

"Thanks.. You, too." Dazai awkwardly waves back.

He gets up, and looks for where Chuuya left to. He finds him talking to someone near the vending machine, and squints to see who it is.
