Dazai sips on a glass of whiskey while leaning against the railing outside on the balcony, watching the streets of Yokohama below him come to life with bright yellow lights and crowds of people shuffling past one another.

It was nearing midnight and Dazai could not sleep, which was frustrating because he barely slept this entire week, to begin with.

The thing about being a successful and famous pianist is that it demanded a lot from him.

A lot of work.

A lot of time.

A lot of concentration.

A lot of motivation.

And because Dazai is expected to come up with a new piece in 10 days, he's been stressed for a week now.

He felt tense and on edge, causing him to anxiously tap on the side of the drink with his ring finger, listening to the clinking sound of his band hitting against the glass.

He has no idea what to do for his next piece and that was eating at him this whole night.

His finger stopped moving and was now lightly pressed against the glass as he felt delicate hands run across his waist and up to his stomach and the weight of a smaller body press against his back, providing warmth to flow through his own body.

"It's late," he heard the sounds of a muffled voice against the back of his shirt, while the other's hands were roaming freely against the muscles on his stomach.

Dazai let out a deep sigh and turned around to face the redhead who was wearing nothing but his boxers and one of Dazai's navy blue button-up shirts that's slightly bigger on him as the bottom of the shirt hangs down to his knees, with one of his shoulders being exposed.

Using his free hand that wasn't holding onto the glass of whiskey, Dazai reached for the back of Chuuya's head and brought him towards his chest and the smaller man wrapped his arms around Dazai's middle to bring himself even closer, taking in Dazai's scent of whiskey and cedarwood.

Dazai leaned down a bit to press his lips on top of Chuuya's head, "I couldn't sleep."

Chuuya let out a snort, "Yeah, I know. You couldn't sleep for a good week. But you should still come to bed."

Chuuya can feel Dazai's chest vibrate as he lets out a soft chuckle, "Does chibi miss me?"

"Shut up, it's just... really cold without you in bed..."

Dazai couldn't help but let a soft smile, his chest warm despite the cold air that surrounded them.

He leans back a bit and lets go of Chuuya's head to lightly grab onto his chin, tilting his face up so Dazai can see those bright and adoring blue eyes that always made him fall in love all over again with the redhead.

"I would love to come to bed sweetheart, but I'm dangerously close to the deadline and I have nothing,"

Dazai expected Chuuya to fight back. To tell him to forget the piece and just sleep. To frown or pout. But instead, he saw a small smirk forming at the corner of the redhead's mouth.

"Mmmm...I think... I can help you with that..." Chuuya responds in a low and almost seductive tone.

Dazai arches one eyebrow and tilts his head in curiosity, "Oh really?" his tone was filled with suspicion entangled with excitement.
