Chuuya started his camboy career during quarantine, after he lost his part-time job, and got stranded in Paris for a whole year without any financial stability of his own. He was at the end of his studies at university and finished his degree online, but he was stuck in France for the time being with the flying ban intact because of COVID. Luckily, his sister in Japan could provide him with a long-term visa, so he could stay in the country legally even after his studies were done, with nothing to do other than waiting for the flight restrictions to lift.

The camboy experience wasn't necessarily something he sought out on purpose. He was searching for the most secure video chatting platforms, which he could use to talk to Ane-san while she was out on missions and didn't want to be tracked when the camboy service's ad showed up on the sidebar of his search tab.

He skimmed through the ad, then curious, clicked on the link. The whole concept seemed easy enough for someone who was confident in themselves and their sexuality. He was confident, good-looking, exotic, and sexually adventurous - he was basically built to be successful in this line of work.

He studied the working of the whole thing for a few days before registering, pouring over forums and blogs covering the topic, then after he finally set up his profile, he started out with public chat rooms, like everybody else. The travel restrictions were actually lifted a few weeks ago, and his visa was expiring anyway, so Chuuya, after spending the past 5 years in France, finally decided it was time to go home. He thought about his online job a lot, but with the service being advertised as a European site, he couldn't be sure how it'd work in Japan. After he bought his plane ticket and finished finalizing his travel plans, he contacted his regulars about him leaving the platform. For good.

One of his regulars was an American businessman, using the absurd username bigd1ckbigbucks, who asked Chuuya to call him Gatsby during their private chats and tipped quite generously. Chuuya actually saw the man a few times on TV. His real name was Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, and he was one of the most influential billionaires in the US. Also, he appeared in front of the cameras with a loving wife on his arm and a daughter. He wouldn't miss the man and his borderline weird requests, nor his pompous cheating ass.
