The Sting of Scorpius are two fixed stars Lambda and Upsilon on a star map at the end of its tail. These stars symbolize adverse and destructive events.

"Mori-san."
"Hmm?"
"What is it like to meet your soulmate?"
The rustling of the paper stopped, Dazai met a little bit amused look of his mentor.
"Isn't it painful?" the brown-haired went on, slightly tilting his head to the side, "You and ane-san are almost always together, but it doesn't look like it's painful for you."
"You can endure the pain," Ougai answered after a few seconds, his lips stretching into a barely noticeable smile, "It depends on how deep the connection between the soulmates is. Kyou-kun and I are close, but not that close to suffer from unbearable pain," scoffing, the man watched how Osamu moved his gaze to his wrist, "Are you really interested in this?"
Interested? Well.
The whole thing about soulmates was a useless nonsense to him. Not only does the universe force you to be with a stranger for the rest of your life, but it also gives you episodes of constant pain.
Dazai hated pain. And it was one of the many reasons why he didn't need a soulmate.
Osamu saw soulmates. He felt like throwing up every time he watched them. No, he understood that it was about his perception, but anyway. Mutual reliance, blind adoration, that were put in a concept of a 'true love', was just disgusting.
No, of course this didn't apply to everyone. Mori and Kyou, for example, didn't evoke any feelings. Sometimes it was difficult for Dazai to perceive them separately. Their relationship was calm and safe. He'd be jealous, but he didn't need such a burden.
Osamu knew that he was not the most normal person, and he knew for sure he wasn't going to live happily ever after. Of course, sometimes he was curious as to what kind of person his soulmate was, but not enough to think about it.
Indifferently, he glanced at his wrist, which, like an eyesore, usually showed someone else's name. Ordinary black letters. Right now it was covered with white bandages. He imagined for a second how it'd hurt when he met his soulmate.
A deafening emptiness was inside of him.
"No. I don't care."
Dazai hated pain.
♡
Of course, the Universe or what was it didn't care about his wish.
The word on his wrist stung with a slight pain (not like he thought it would), when Nakahara Chuuya sent his body towards the wall with one kick.
Little, red and loud. That was how his soulmate was.
Dazai wasn't sure as to what he should be feeling, but that shorty's face flinched, and then twisted in disgust.
It was funny.
Apparently, he was not the only one to have a negative attitude towards this topic about soulamtes.
"Yeah, you're nothing like I Imagined you," the brown-haired trailed off with his disappointed voice, mockingly, when they stepped out of Mori's cabinet. Chuuya was walking next to him, his hands still in his pockets. The corner of his lips twitched irritably, sending him a piercing look.
