Chapter 4

Lia's POV

It's been few days since that day. The day I lost the only help I could get, apart from other omegas. Alex was the only person who was helping us. Always bringing water and food to the cells, checking out our wounds. That was one of the reasons I agreed to help the royal gamma. I don't know why he didn't want to just use his authority to meet with him. I knew Alex will be better off in other pack. Any pack is better then here. Everyday has been a hell. There is no other words to describe it.
I still get marked daily - gamma Ethan thinks the mark will stay if he keeps repeating it daily. Well it will definitely scar.. The pain is... barely noticeable, taking over my whole body. Making me numb. My wolf is still not there. I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like death would be the best option for me. I just have to plan it correctly- there is no space for mistakes.
Mar came to my box room.
"Lia! There is no time!" She shouted to me in half of the whisper. "They know! I don't know how but they know you tried to contact other pack!"
She finished.

My eyes became wider then it is possible.
"W-What?" I asked generally confused.
"What are you talking about?"

"Ethan thinks that it was you who tried to contact other pack and ask for help"-she answered now almost as confused as me.

"I didn't. I wouldn't do that. Who told you that ? "
-I almost scream at her, my blood boiling. If someone said that about me.. if this is true.. I will die, very soon. All colour drained from my face.

"I..I... " she started.
But she couldn't finish as at this moment my door flew wide open again and very angry gamma came in.

"You sl*t!" He yelled.

"How dare you go behind my back? Didn't I give you all what you need ? You ungrateful bi**h!" - he yelled in my face, pushing me against the wall.

I didn't know what to say. The reality of what was just happening did not sit well with me. My already snappy mouth wanted to speak. No. Shout! That it wasn't me. That I don't know what is happening. But I know very well no one would listen. No one would believe me. Ethan got closer. When there were only inches between our faces he whispered.

"Surprised? Hope you'll enjoy your birthday gift from me!"

My face fell. Did he just admitted that it was him who lied about this? F*ck! I even forgot it's my birthday. I'm officially 18 - but without my wolf I won't be able to find my mate and with him marking me everyday I have his scent on me. No other male will even look at me. Well, happy birthday to me!
I closed my eyes as the first blow came to my cheek. My body was pushed against the edge of the door. Back of my head smashing to the hard wood and everything went black.

I couldn't feel anything. My breath was slow almost non existent. I couldn't see anything. I felt empty. With every slow breath I took, my body was falling into the deepest darkness.

GRIFFIN POV
"I can't believe them" my voice filled up the air in my office. Everyone's heads dropped, baring their necks ,submitting to me.
My dangerous aura quickly suffocating them.

"Alpha, you highness , please calm down"- Mani said in low voice.

I was angry. How did this happen. Bl*dy hyenas!
Just when I thought everything will be fine...
Mani came to my office just to tell me that hyenas attacked 2 of the small shifters packs, well communities. Jackals were helping them. They are killing everyone. Sadly the communities that they attacked, couldn't protect themselves. They just didn't have enough members in their packs.
F*cking hyenas! I did travel to see if anyone survived their attacks. We saved a total of 7wolfs. I had to contact my friends for help.

Itan from west clan answered me quite quickly saying that the bears from his clan will join me in this fight. We don't normally work together, but we signed contract to help one another when help is needed. And as my wolf is playing up big times now, I will need any help I can to stop those low lifes.

SOMEWHERE IN THE FOREST
" Alan! I found a human girl but she is barely breathing !" - shouted the first voice.

"Bring her to our home Jackson! Just be careful!
I will mindlink Bella to prepare what we need."
Deep low voice answered.

A boy with black eyes nodded his head and carefully lifted up the girl of the ground taking her to the main house.

LIA'S POV
I slowly open my eyes. I was in a very dark room, that looked very cozy. Long curtains, blocked sun from outside.
I growled in pain as I tried to move my hand. I turned my head to the side. A dark silhouette appeared right infront of me. My heart rate sped up.

-"Easy there!" - said deep voice. -"I really don't want you to hurt yourself more. You have been through a lot "- he added softly.

I nodded, not feeling like talking.

-"I have no clue how you are still alive, but I want you to know you are safe here." Deep voice said.
-" I will put a small light in the back of the room ok?"-he asked.

I nodded again.

A small orange light filled the room just enough for me to see everything clearly and not to blind my very sensitive eyes.
I looked at the man I front of me. He's black eyes pulled me in, authority emitting of him in waves. He was very powerful man- I could tell straight away. He had black, medium long hair that touched his shoulders. He was tall and really good built. I sniffed the air. He was not a human, but I wasn't sure what actually he was.

"What's your name, darling?" he asked

"Lia" - I whispered, and dropped my eyes down. Remembering I am not allowed to speak.

-"Lia, I will not harm you, I promise" he said once again.- "do you remember what happened to you ?"

I tried to remember. But as soon as I though I can remember a thing, my headache started to form and I couldn't focus any longer. I shaked my head "no".

-"that's ok Lia. Sometimes our body doesn't want to remember all aweful things that happened. Looking at your injuries that may be a reason".

I nodded again and looked down at my hands, that were now resting on my legs. I had wires connected to them. Small monitors making sure my body is working correctly. Soon one of the staff members came into my view. They introduced themself as Grey and Ma. Doctors. They checked me over.

- "Jackson. She has 4broken ribs, lost over 2litters of blood. Several internal injuries as broken leg and a break in her skull in forehead areas..."Dr.Grey said to a big man standing in front of him. I stopped listening at this point."she also has a mark on her neck..."
That last sentence made my hand to go up to the side of my neck. Most of the horrible memories flushed in front of my eyes all at once. I got instant headache and growled in pain.
