Chapter 19

Lia's POV

We went towards arena. Big, heavy door welcomed us.
Izzy grabbed my hand.
Kit saw us downstairs and he came to my side, smiling shyly at Izzy.

"They've started. He's doing great. Come, there is a space next to us." Kit said pointing on the top row.

I know what they're doing.
Bears were like my family now. They saved me once and now They will try to protect me if needed.

I nodded and followed him to a seats in the middle of the row.

Griffin was blocking almost all punches send by Alec.
Alec kicked him in ribs, Griffin punched him in face.

Alec's angry expression said he had enough playing. He started to shift. But only half way through. His facial features changed, more looking like a wolf than human. His nails and teeth elongated. His body posture taller and more forward bended.

People around us gasped.

Prince had much better technique but Alec was stronger and bigger now, much bigger.

I wasn't sure what is Griffin planning to do.

His eyes had a golden rings around them. Alpha wolf trying to take over .

Few seconds later Prince shifted. His huge, midnight black wolf stood proudly on his four legs.
He presented power, strength. At that moment I knew he will not give up this fight.

He attacked first. Running towards his target as quick as possible, jumped, grabbing Alec's arm with his teeth, ripping a bit of muscle off.

Alec howled. Angry wave of his aura hit all of us.
He tried to swing his arms at Alpha wolf but he was slower.

In the corner of my eye I could see Claire and Chloe.
They also were watching this fight.

I saw black wolf latching onto Alec's neck, trying to drag him to the ground, swinging his head from right to left.

But that close distance gave Alec a chance to hit the wolf. Pushing his claws straight into Griffin's ribs.

Griff let go immediately.
Alec jumped him, straddling his waist now. Started to hit his face and torso, clawing every bit of Prince body.

Griffin looked tired.

He was bleeding a lot.

Why is he not healing? I asked my wolf.
I'm not sure.. she answered

Griffin managed to push off Alec and roll to the side, just before Alec's kick that was aimed at Prince's face.

The fight continued, both brothers not willing to loose.

At this point Alec was wining.
Griffins ribs and belly were heavily bleeding. He was panting.

He gave me a quick look. His eyes meeting mine for a split of the second. He's voice sounded in my head.

"I'm sorry Litte one"

With that he charged at Alec with all he had left shifting mid air back into his human form. As he landed, his claws slid on Alec's back, cutting his flesh open. He howled.

Griffin tried to get closer, finding himself jumping on Alec in the same time as Alec hands went forward with stubbing motion. Claws still visible.

Griffin screamed, grabbed Alec's head and in the same time twisted Alec's neck, killing his older brother.
