Chapter 13

Back to Lia's POV

I knew what was on Hunters mind. But I also knew that I need to do this. Not only for Griffin but also for royal pack. From what I've heard while spending time with bears they have some problems and it seems like war was on its way.

A gentle knock on the door stopped my thinking. A scent similar to Griffin's was behind my door.

"Come in" - I said with a bit of curiosity.
A young beautiful girl came in. She has dark brown hair, big green eyes and tiny freckles covering her nose and top of her cheeks. She smiled gently making me feel safe.

"Hi , my name is Izzy, I'm Griffin's sister " she gave me a big, generous smile.
"I'm Lia" - I said sitting up on my bed.
"Oh I know. You all the boys are talking about"she said .
"Boys?" I asked.
"Hunter, Alex and of course Griff. I've never seen him so ... happy.. he keeps talking about you, when Claire doesn't hear obviously " she answered.
"I'm not sure if there is anything to talk about. I might have scare them but that's all. I kind of keep fainting on them. . " I said, my head dropping down, floor seems more interesting then anything.
"Oh believe me darling that there is more to you then you let every one know .." she said, my head snapped at her. She winked at me..
"Anyway get ready little wolf, we are going shopping, Griffins treat. We have an engagement party to attend day after tomorrow. It seems like my brother can't wait to be mated. " she smiled.
My heart stopped. Day after tomorrow.. so soon.. I'm definitely not ready for that. I have to figure something out.
I nodded my head. Izzy left my room, giving me time to get ready.

I looked around
The room I'm staying in must be one of the official guest rooms inside the castle. Expensive looking furniture perfectly fitted in enormous space. I got to bathroom to get ready.

Pack land was huge.. we were currently driving through a village. Lots of colourful houses with small store here and there.
We parked the car and started shopping.
Izzy knew exactly what she is looking for. We went to at least ten different shops before she decided that she finally found the dress she dreamed of. I, on the other hand was clueless. I cannot remember time I last went shopping. I don't think there was time like that in my whole life. And I really didn't want to go to that party. But everyone have to be there. I was deep in my thoughts when suddenly Izzy jump out from behind the clothing rack and handed me a blue bag.

"This is for you Lia. I think it will be perfect for you !" She smiled widely.
I opened the bag and looked inside. It was a dress. I took it out to look closer. A beautiful baby blue dress. Simple, with longer sleeve. V-neck cut with gentle lace around sleeves and top half. Falling loosely down. It would finish just before my knees.
My thoughts went skyrocketing.
" oh my goddess, Izzy , I can't ... I cannot ..." I stutter.

"You can and you will. I cannot wait to see you wearing it.. and those.. " she pulled out of her bag a pair of light beige shoes.
My eyes widen
"I know what you will say and Lia seriously it was not a problem at all. " she said handing me shoes with a small smirk. I thank her.
After that we went back home for dinner.
I really wasn't feeling that hungry.
I've put my gifts in the room that I've stayed last night. I will ask about it later.

Heading down to dinning room, readying myself to swallow any food, soft scent of my mate engulfed me before I opened the door.
Goodness, his scent... my wolf said excitedly
Calm down. I said to her.
Are you going to be ok with his aura ? Or we will faint - I ask her sarcastically.
I'm going to be ok- know I know how it feels, as long as he stays calm we should be fine.
I sighed and pushed the door open. All eyes went on me, and whole room for a split of a seconds went quiet.
I froze.
What if I'm not supposed to be here. Maybe..
"Lia, please join us,  have a sit." Izzy said happily moving a chair for me to sit.
I bowed my head in respect to my mate and his future mate.
I got closer to the table and sat down next to her and Alex. I was happy to see him. Hunter gave me a small smile from across the table. I nodded my head in response. His face fell when Griffin grabbed Clarissa's hand and kissed the back of her hand, intertwining their fingers together.
This small gesture made me upset. There was no way I can eat now.
Hunter must've mindlink Alex who was looking at me now. Worry painted on his face.
"I'll be fine" I whispered to Alex.
Suddenly a velvet like voice said.
"Lia, i thought it would be a good idea to introduce you to royal pack and welcome you officially straight after the mating ceremony. I hope you are up to this offer. " Griffins handsome face spoke to me. I nodded not feeling like talking at this moment.
He smiled in response "great so after tomorrow, evening time we will have new pack member"
He added.
My eyes darted down towards my hands that were currently rest on my knees.
I couldn't follow conversation after that.
Alex touched my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. We stayed like that for a while.
My heart heavier than ever.
After the dinner boys headed outside to ran in the forest surrounding the castle and girls stayed in the lounge. I wanted to sneak out but sadly Izzy was determined to make me stay.  We were there with Claire and two of her friends.
"So , how was your shopping Izzy ?" Claire asked .
" oh we had a lovely time and both got beautiful dresses. Cannot wait for the party !" She smiled.
" yes well me and Griffin cannot either. It's going to be event of the century. I'm happy he moved it earlier, just two day and he will be all mine !" Claire said .
My wolf decided that's a great idea would be to growl on my future Luna. I looked down. Everyone stopped moving and it seemed like they also stopped breathing.
"Do you have a problem, ugly?" Claire said making a step towards me.
" I'm sorry Luna I'm not sure why I did that" - I said still watching the floor.
A sound of skin on skin slap sounded through the room. My hand covering my cheek immediately. Izzy gasped.
She slapped us ! My wolf was getting angry. How dare she... this sl*t slapped us!
I closed my eyes trying to calm down.
Please stop, we don't need any more trouble. I said to her.
I could feel her pacing in my head. I didn't want to challenge my future Luna. We deserve it. We are not pack members yet and already we disrespected her ..
You are meant to be a Luna not this... unless... power hungry b*tch...
My wolf growled again

Bonus
Izzy's POV

"... and he will be all mine!" The moment these words left Claire's mouth, a growl escaped Lia's. A strong aura surrounded us all, we froze.
Who are you really little one ? My wolf looked at her with curiosity.
Claire didn't like that at all. Whiteout thinking she went closer, closing the gap between her and Lia. Shouted at her and slapped her across her pretty face. I had to try really hard not to growl myself. Clarissa's friends were giggling, but I don't think Lia heard them. She was mentally fighting for control with her wolf. I could feel her. She was so strong. For the first time today I've sensed her wolf completely. And she was incredible. Just like my vision from yesterday showed. Strong and passionate. I cannot wait to meet her soon.
