zoe felt rushed as always because her and mason were running late. they had made the decision to move in together a few months ago, when they first started dating which was back in january.
and yes you read that correctly, first started dating. even though zoe's cousin, declan, is against it. the pair decided just to be together even if declan didn't like it, it's not like he's going to find out anyways.
"BABE, ARE YOU ALMOST READY?" zoe shouted from the bottom of the stairs.
"YEAH, HAVE YOU GOT EVERYTHING?" mason shouted back to his girlfriend.
"yeah, right we need to go." zoe said as she grabbed her stuff and walked to the car where the driver was patiently waiting.
mason soon followed, once he double checked all the lights are turned off and the front door was locked.
"what do you think dec is going to do when he finds out we are dating?" zoe said, resting her head on mason's lap.
"i don't know love, it won't be good but don't think about him." mason said as he played with her hair.
zoe hummed in attempt to respond but instead she ended up falling asleep.
"hello?" mason said, answering his phone.
"hi mate, where are you?" declan said and mason chuckled.
"i was running late, i'll be there in two hours." mason said, hearing declan groan out of annoyance.
"have you heard from zoe? she isn't answering her phone." declan asked and mason didn't know what to say.
"uh nah mate, haven't heard of her, think she is driving up later." mason lied which he honestly hated doing but he knew he had to.
"ah right, i'll leave you be, see you soon bro." declan said.
"see you soon mate." mason said ending the call, then focusing his attention on zoe.
he played with her perfectly curled hair, trying his best not to ruin it. he has always loved zoe but over the past months, he has loved her even more which he is sure isn't possible.
"babe, why you staring at me." zoe giggled, as she sat up and stretched slightly.
"i was staring at your beauty." mason said as zoe wrapped her arms around his neck, placing multiple kisses all over his face. one on his nose. one on his forehead. one on each of his cheeks. and the last one his lips. he doesn't know why she does it but he certainly loves it.
"and we are here." the driver said as zoe swore under her breath upon seeing declan stood outside.
"you told dec that i wasn't here didn't you?" zoe said as mason nodded.
"i panicked, sorry babe." mason said as zoe smiled.
"it's okay love, i'll just have to sneak round the back, can i borrow your hoodie?" zoe said and mason nodded, taking his hoodie off and handing it zoe.
"if he asks any questions just say it was one of the physios that your dating okay?" zoe said as she gathered her stuff and gave mason a quick hug.
she grabbed her stuff off the driver, then ran to the back. she knows no-one saw her because this is a door to gareth's office which only he can open.
"oh hey zoe." gareth says as zoe hands him some jaffa cakes.
"just like i promised." zoe said as gareth laughs.
"these will be gone by tonight." gareth joked and zoe laughs.
"i'm in mase's room yeah?" zoe said and gareth nodded.
she left the office, making her way upstairs and she now doesn't need to worry if declan sees her.
"why are you wearing mason's hoodie?" he says as zoe turns around.
"oh, this was in my wardrobe, didn't know it was his." zoe said and declan nodded.
zoe knew she couldn't continue this any longer especially with her being pregnant.
