mason's birthday is today and zoe had been up since 5 am preparing everything. they decided just keep it between them but zoe couldn't resist so as a surprise, his family are driving up to surprise him. but zoe fell asleep on the sofa whilst sorting out his presents.
mason woke up to macie crying, he looked around to see if zoe was anywhere but she wasn't so he walked over to her moses basket and picked her up.
"morning princess, are you hungry?" mason whispered to macie who calmed down when he started cradling her.
"maybe not then but let's go and see where mummy is ay?" mason said as he placed macie on the bed, making sure she's safe before walking into the closet.
he just simply put a pair of shorts on and a tank top. he walked back into the bedroom and smiled when he saw macie fast asleep. he didn't really know what to do so he carefully picked her up and left the room with her.
he walked in and out of rooms, still no sign of zoe. so he wandered downstairs but taking his time as he doesn't want to wake macie up. he went straight into the kitchen where he saw zoe fast asleep on the sofa with decorations around her.
he laughed to himself before walking over. he didn't wake her knowing that she probably was up early doing all of this just for him. he placed macie down in the moses basket that's downstairs and then went to make her a bottle and himself a cup of tea.
he underestimated how loud to machine was that prepared the water for the bottle and it soon woke zoe up. he looked over at her with a smile on his face and she gave him a smile back.
"you want a cuppa?" mason said and zoe nodded but she quickly gasped.
"shit...shit... mase close your eyes, your not meant to be seeing this!" zoe exclaimed and mason turned away but he still made the teas.
she quickly put the presents neatly in front of the tv, on the floor. she then walked over to him and messed with his hair which then made mason glare at him.
"happy birthday my love." zoe said as she kissed him.
she cupped his face and placed kisses all over his face. one on his nose. one on his forehead. one on each of his cheeks. and the last one his lips. it felt like a lifetime since she's last done that but she knows he loves it.
"thank you gorgeous." mason said as he handed her her tea and then he carried on making macie's bottle.
once he's finished, he then came and sat down next to zoe. she gave him a smile whilst taking the bottle off him and placing it on the coffee table.
"open your presents then." she said as mason handed her his cup and then grabbed a couple of the presents.
he opened on of the presents to see a casestify box. he opened the box to see a phone case with pictures of him, zoe and macie. he instantly grabbed his phone and took the current phone case off and put the new one on.
"i love it." mason said as zoe smiled to herself, knowing she nailed one of his presents.
he opened the rest of the presents and he got some clothes he's been desperately wanting and just some random bits and bobs.
"thank you baby." mason said as he gave zoe a warm cuddle.
"no problem, anything for my boy."
