SYNOPSIS

BEFORE THE APOCALYPSE WIPED out the whole world, Aria Blake (Wright) lived a cliche life. Raising her teen son with her husband, going to work and then proceeding to do the same thing all over again the next day. A simple lifestyle, nothing too over the top just a regular white picket fenced house with an older model car in the driveway, thanks to her husband, type of people.

That once white picket house, clean and full of life and loving memories came crashing down within a blink of an eye. As the apocalypse started, the family stayed strong, or as strong as they could despite the overwhelming circumstances. But that soon disappeared when Aria woke up in the middle of the night to total horror, blood curdling screams filling the air. The once white fence now covered in dirt and grime, specks of blood and unknown substances layering down due to the dead crawling and moaning right in front of their very eyes.

That was the night Aria lost her husband and Greyson lost his dad. They had no idea what to do as they were told to run for their life's and to not turn back, and they did. Countless times almost ending up dead or having to do the unthinkable while grieving someone they loved so dearly. It was hard, so incredibly devastating but the two kept going and fighting for their lives no matter whats at stake.

Constant regret and loneliness had her in a chokehold, begging for any sort of relief. Being taken in one day by her brother, who called himself "The Governor", made her feel slightly less upset. But that didn't seem to last long as he soon traded her spot in the community for a blonde he barely knew. Making her understand why she barely saw her brother before the dead walked the earth in the first place.

When one night guns start blaring with sounds of screams and smoke filling the crisp air, Aria knew Woodbury and it's people were doomed. She frantically ran around building to building to find Grey, but as she took ahold of his hands to get out she felt a pair of strong arms grab her quickly and a shooting pain in her temple, followed by darkness.

Rick Grimes pointing a gun to her face wasn't something she expected waking up to, nor the pounding questions he asked that she had no clue about. For a minute the man seemed nothing short of crazy but as a group of people peeked into the girls jail cell, Aria felt for the man. Putting a gentle hand around her sons shoulders, bringing him closer trying to give him a sort of comfort while being held hostage in a prison.

As the days went on being stuck in the confined space, Aria got annoyed. She started to set a vendetta against the man who locked her and her son in here, now not liking him whatsoever. But once he let her and Grey out, they seemed to get closer despite everything that was happening, that "hatred" soon disappeared.

Almost as forbidden as it seemed, the two started to develop unwanted feelings and the realization they understood each other a lot more than they once did finally hit. Even with that knowledge, neither knew how to act on their feelings for one another.
