TENTHE BLUE EYED WOMAN WALKED behind Hershel as she waited for Rick and the others to come back inside. When she heard the creaking of the metal door open, she walked faster with Grey on her trail. Hershel moved aside to let them walk out in front of him, knowing it would take him a second longer with his crutches.
Aria crossed her arms over her chest as she saw a familiar blonde make her way inside the prison behind Rick. Her eyes slanted as she took in the disheveled Andrea. Her clothes seemed dirtied, a few buttons on her top were gone leaving it opened, and her hair a mess in a ponytail.
She watched as Andrea walked down the stairs to give Carol a hug. Aria's face drew confused at the fact the blonde seemed to know everyone already. She could only think they once knew each other before the prison became their home.
Aria caught a glimpse of Michonne who was moving fast to the back of the room. Her eyes met Michonne's brown, not exchanging words vocally only with the looks on their faces. Michonne turned her head to the side, in a way to break the eye contact.
The woman took the hint, looking away herself and at the fact Rick seemed to be closer to her than he was a minute ago. He was next to the round table, with Daryl on the other side of him. She couldn't help but take a glance at the man next to her as he took the gun off that was strapped around his shoulder, but quickly turned away as his eyes caught hers.
She knew he caught her looking, only slightly. He didn't say anything, neither of them did since their talk earlier that day. Aria wasn't too sure where they stood with each other now. She didn't want to say anything to him, not knowing what to say, she wasn't even sure why she was previously staring at him either.
Her attention was brought back to Andrea looking at Hershel's leg, taking in a good look at the whole group. "I can't believe this."
Andrea stopped her eyes at Rick, "Where's Shane?"
That was the second time Aria heard the name Shane that day. He seemed to mean something to Rick the way he slowly looked to the floor, an unreadable expression on his face. Rick shook his head, looking away and to the wall behind Aria.
"And Lori?" Andrea's eyes teared up watching the way Rick looked down at the floor again not answering, not wanting to answer.
He seemed sick of everyone asking about her. If he was okay with loosing her. Aria knew Rick didn't want to answer these questions, saying those words made it feel more real. It made something inside of you click, to stop holding onto that person you know isn't here anymore but you don't want to let go.
Aria's eyes found their way back onto the man next to her, her expression read the words that she didn't say. She knew how hard it was, why he didn't want to speak. She could only feel the way her heart tugged at the seams, a knowing feeling running it's course through her body.
"She had a girl." Hershel spoke for Rick. "Lori didn't survive."
"Neither did T-dog." Maggie included.
Andrea looked around again, "I'm so sorry." She took a step forward, "Carl..." The boy didn't say anything, looking away as she looked at him with pity.
"Rick, I-" Andrea starting walking towards him, the man sniffling as he shuffled between both feet looking at anything but her. "You all live here?"
