Hello! Sorry for the long break! Here's an update!
In case you missed my announcement on my profile, I'll be updating The Main Lead's Substitute every Mondays and Wednesdays starting this week!

WALANG PASOK. KAYA nandito lang ako ngayon sa mini-theater room namin para manood ng mga movie.
Special non-working holiday at sa susunod na isang buong linggo naman ay may gaganapin sa school kaya kinansela ang klase namin.
"What are you watching?"
I looked at Legend who sat beside me and snatched the popcorn I'm eating.
"Hey! Akin 'yan! You should've asked Romino to make you one." Nakabusangot ang mukha ko at kinuha pabalik sa kanya ang popcorn. He chuckled at kumuha na lang sa bucket na hawak ko.
"So damot," he murmured.
"So conyo," I fired back.
"Are you doing something today?" aniya habang nakatuona ng mata sa movie.
"Wala," sagot ko agad. "I have some pendings pa but we won't have any classes for the following days. Hindi ko muna gagawin."
"Do you want to go out?" Tinignan niya ako na tila ba hinihintay ang sagot ko.
"Anong meron?" Nalilito kong tanong.
Nagkibit-balikat siya. "Wala naman. Simula kasi ng kinasal tayo, hindi pa tayo lumalabas o nagkakaroon man lang ng time na magkasama. I also wanted to relax. I'm too busy since last month. You're also busy in law school. I'm sure you wanted to take a rest."
"Nagkaroon naman tayo ng time na magkasama sa office mo, ah." Tumigil ako sa pagkain at humarap sa kanya.
"That's not even counted," he hissed.
"Bakit naman? We are both in the same room, breathing the same air, and we even talked to each other," tugon ko pero may naisip ako na ikinakilabot ko rin. "Unless you can see something that normal people couldn't!"
I even gasped to add more exaggeration to prove my point. He rolled his eyes which made me laugh.
"I don't have a third eye, woman. Tulog kasi ako no'n. Paano mo matatawag na bonding 'yon kung 'yung kasama mo tulog tapos ikaw nagtatrabaho?" masungit niyang ani.
Humalakhak ako. "I was kidding! Pikon ka talaga. Sige. Saan mo naman gusto pumunta?"
Ngumuso si Legend at lumikot ang mga mata. "Should we go cruising? Or let's continue our honeymoon trip?"
"I thought you wanted to relax? Everything you suggested is too tiring!" reklamo ko.
"What?"
"Imagine, we have to pack our clothes and ready everything we need for those trips. Sasakay tayo ng eroplano. Sigurado ako kapag nakarating tayo sa mga bansang gusto mong puntahan or sa cruising, you have to mind your attitude and manners because you are a public figure. Paano ka naman makakapag-relax ng ganoon? 'Yung maraming restrictions?" mahabang litanya ko na may mga kasamang hand gestures pa.
He rested his chin in his palm. He nodded. "Fair point. Ano naman alternative ang naiisip mo?"
"Maybe dito na lang sa bahay? Let's have a small dinner with everyone tonight! Then, tomorrow isip na lang tayo ulit ng gagawin natin," I suggested.
"That seems like a great idea." He nodded. Binalik niya ang popcorn sa akin at tumayo siya. "I'll talk to Susana to start the preparation for tonight. Do you want to come with me?"
