Kaeya wrapped his arm around Thoma. "You think I've changed? Look at Master Diluc!" He'd say with a big laugh.

"You both have changed. Kaeya went from gloomy face to happy face, and Diluc went from happy face to gloomy face." Thoma laughed nervously, hand on Kaeya's wrist.

"Boys, perhaps it's time for bed, now." Came in a blonde lady, who wore a maid dress.

Kaeya caught his breath. "Ha.. fine."

"Who's this young lady?" Ayato asked.

"I'm Adelinde. I've taken care of these two after their father's loss." Said the lady. She put her hand on her chest while she introduced herself. "It's so nice to meet you, I wasn't expecting guests to be over."

"Thoma, do you remember Adelinde? You've only met her once but.." Kaeya would start.

"Ehm.. No I don't, sorry." Thoma muttered.

"It's quite alright. I don't expect you to remember after one encounter." Adelinde smiled. "Why don't you guys go to bed now, okay? It's already dark."

The four cleaned up the place with Adelinde's help.

"Goodnight, you two." Diluc said, as Kaeya waved to them while he went upstairs. He was caught by surprise when Thoma hugged him again to wish him goodnight.

"Goodnight!" Thoma responded afterwards, then he and Ayato went into their room.

"You have a good relationship with them. It's adorable, really." Ayato smiled at him.

Thoma flustered. "Ah, thank you, Ayato."

"If it weren't for you, Inazuma would still be in the slumps. Ever since you came, it's been so active and positive." Ayato would say.

"Heh.. I can recall the many time you've said that, Waka." Thoma spoke under his breath.

"Hm?" Thoma felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist from behind. "..Ayato?"

Ayato's arms slightly tightened around him. "..."

"I love you.."

Thoma was stunned. But he came up with a response. A hesitant one, at that.

"..I.. I love you, too." He said.

Ayato rested his chin on Thoma's shoulder. "No, I mean.." He sighed, before saying, "..nevermind."

He nuzzled his face in the crook of Thoma's neck.

Thoma didn't do much. All he could do was hold his hands on Ayato's.

"Are you tired? You should lay down before you collapse from exhaustion."

"Alright, Thoma, I'll lie down. Since you're so worried." Ayato let go of Thoma and lied down on the bed.

"Uhm.. That's my bed-"

"What's the problem? If it's your bed, why don't you come join me?" Ayato opened his arms.

"..And you're still wearing your uniform.." Thoma sighed. He took off his headband and his jacket, as well as the cloth and accessories around his waist and looked at Ayato. "My lord, are you sure you want to sleep wearing that?"

"Oh? You'd like another night sleeping with me?" Ayato asked in a seductive tone.

"Eh-" Thoma squeezed his fists, face turning red.
