I was kind of lucky that Crepus didn't suspect that my wounds were from another person. He would have told my parents if he found out. But anyways, this is in the morning after the horrible night I had. After Kaeya was seemingly satisfied with my answers, he just left.

"You should be more careful, Thoma." Crepus said, as he treated Thoma's bruise. He cleaned his face as it was a little dirty.

Kaeya just stared at Crepus while he treated Thoma. "..."

"I'm sorry." Thoma apologized.

Crepus was Diluc's father. Apparently when the two were in a stagecoach, they were attacked by some dragon thing, and Crepus was hurt fatally. I don't know the full story, but I think that Kaeya told me how Diluc ended his life himself. I guess it's why Diluc is so gloomy now.. I feel so bad for him.

I was on a walk with my dad. We were going outside of Mondstadt to go fishing. But as we were leaving, we saw some guards surrounding a place with some objects hidden under white cloth. It was in the reputation area of Mondstadt. I realized that those same treasure hoarders..

Thoma noticed that the guards were finishing covering up the last thing, moving what looked like an arm under the cloth. The blonde noticed that the hand was missing the pinky finger. His eyes widened in unexpected shock.

Were killed the next day..

The kid stood there staring at what were actually bodies under the sheets. "..."

Where is that one guy? He doesn't deserve to die, he saved me. There's only 3 bodies here.. There's no way.. Thoma didn't want to believe that the black-haired man killed the other 3. Unless if he was getting revenge for the kid..

His dad, Tom, walked up and put a hand on his back. "Thoma, come on. Don't pay attention to what they're doing."

Thoma looked up at his father. He glanced back at the bodies before the two walked off. It was very strange. He wasn't sure if it was some kind of monster attack, and that man was the only one who escaped. But that's not what it seemed like, the only explanation what if one of them killed the others.

I calmed down about that strange incident as my dad and I fished. Later on, my mother came and joined us. We had a lot of fun with the fish we caught. Kind of.. I was scared of the big fish I got, and hid behind my mom.

The view of the three faded out, revealing a small figure standing behind a tree.

Again, it was Kaeya. For some reason he was just standing there staring at the three on the fishing perch. As always, he had an emotionless expression on his face, eye shining with emptiness. His fist was clenching like before, but this time, he had some sharp object in his hand.

He was remembering the terrible thing he did last night..

Back to last night..

The bluenette left Thoma's room. After he closed the door, he leaned against it. He remembered that the blonde mentioned it was south from the Dawn Winery.

He snuck out of the building and started walking off. Somehow he was able to get there quite quickly. He easily found the shelter those 4 men were staying in.

Kaeya peeked threw the cloth on the window inside. He heard that the men seemed to have woken up just a while after Thoma was let out. He listened to what the men were saying, making out each word that was spoken.
