(Stormy Night :OO)

Months after Lord Kamisato's birthday...

Ayaka looked out at the sky. She would mutter to herself, "The rain is getting heavier."

When is Thoma coming back? She'd think. Thoma had left the estate to do some commissions and pick up stuff from the shops. He had been gone for a while.

The door opened, and Thoma walked in, clothes wet and hair damp. "Milady! I'm back!" He held a box of the items that were ordered.

"Thoma, are you okay?" Ayaka would ask.

"I'm fine, I just got soaked out there. It's best we don't leave for a while." Thoma put the box on the counter. "I best go clean myself and put dry clothes on."

"You do that. I hope the items didn't get too wet." Ayaka took a peep at the box.

Thoma headed to his room with a sigh. "I tried my best to protect the items with my Pyro shield, so they came out somewhat dry."

The housekeeper entered his room. He took out his hair and removed his headband. It was a little cold, so he removed his jacket and shirt and replaced it with a dark gray shirt and a red haori with a design similar to his jacket. The same red, with the same accessories and that black part on the left shoulder.

He wears it when the climate grows colder. It's quite comfortable. Thoma made it himself.

I wonder how Waka is doing.. Thoma thought. He pat his damp-ish pants and and walked out of his room.

He knocked on Ayato's door. "Ayato-Sama, I've returned after completing my commissions."

"Come in."

Thoma opened the door and saw Ayato sitting at his desk, working. "Is there anything I can do for you, my Lord?"

Ayato responded with a smile. "Not at the moment." He couldn't help but smile at Thoma. He hadn't seen Thoma wear that coat in forever. "Come sit next to me."

"..." Thoma was curious about why Ayato wanted him to stay. He closed the door and did as his Lord said. "You've been getting your rest, my Lord?"

The other chuckled. "Yes, I've been able to sleep better recently. But these rainy weathers must turn into a storm. Each day, they get heavier."

"I have noticed that." Thoma said. He got a little nervous about hearing about a storm.

Ayato looked at him. "I'm aware that you don't like thunderstorms. You can stay in my room during them if it makes you comfortable."

"I-Its just that.. When there's thunderstorms, I always struggle to fall asleep. That's all there is to it." Thoma said, but knowing Ayato.. He wouldn't believe that so easily.

Thunderstorms always scared Thoma. The loud rumbling and the bright lights. He always heard stories about people getting struck by lightning and deceasing later on. Never being able to sleep during a thunderstorm.. It's part of why he's often sleep deprived.

Thoma took a glance at what Ayato was working on. He made a little noise of surprise, that Ayato very clearly heard. "..."

Ayato's eyes peered over at Thoma. "Yes. I, as well as the other commissioners, are trying to figure out the mystery of La Signora's death. I wasn't even aware that she was in Inazuma at the time."

"..So they really never found her ashes? How can someone just disappear without a trace..?" Thoma thought to himself.

"If her death was very skillfully undetected, it has to have something to do with the Raiden Shogun. She always disintegrates enemies within seconds." Ayato said he flipped the page of the documents he was reading.
