-Protective Kaeya >:D

"I'm so tired.." Thoma slouched over, sitting on a fallen log.

Him and Kaeya were in a forest off Narukami island. He somehow can still walk around normally despite what happened. And.. the fact that Kaeya knew about that made it more embarrassing.

Kaeya stood there in front of him, hands on his hips. "We just got here. You can't already be tired." He spoke as if he were scolding Thoma. "Also you should have thought about that before fucking your boyfriend."

"I didn't think you would take me out here!" Thoma complained. He apparently wasn't as embarrassed as he should have been. Maybe it's because Kaeya did nothing to humiliate him. "Also you didn't let me tell Ayato that we were leaving. He might think that I got kidnapped."

"So I wanted to go on a walk with my favorite Sunshine, you're supposed to expect me wanting to spend time with you." Kaeya said.

"I'm sorry." Thoma said, for the 5th time.

Rustle~

"Stop apologizing. One was enough." Kaeya sighed. He crossed his arms. The wind gust on the two.

Rustle~...

"Hm?" Thoma looked over. He felt he kept hearing noises, but it could have been the wind. "Uh.."

"Also, you could have just had Ayato deal with his situation himself, so you wouldn't..." Kaeya kept talking, as if he wasn't hearing the sounds Thoma swore he heard.

Shing!

"Uh, uh- Kaeya!" Thoma saw something fly out from the bushes, going towards Kaeya's head.

Kaeya's eyes shot over, although he didn't turn his head, he reached his hand over and caught the object, which was actually a small kunai. He flipped it over so the blade faced the other way, throwing it back towards the bushes. The sound of it hitting something was heard.

It went silent as Kaeya spoke. "Jeez, you can't even let me finish my sentence." He said, as a figure jumped out from the bushes, flying into the shadow of the trees.

"T, get behind me." Kaeya's eyes followed the being as Thoma did so.

Whatever it was, it flew around the shadows. It kept going in a circle with the two in the center, almost as if it were looking for a weak spot.

Suddenly a figure, wearing a dark coat, landed in front of the two, then jumping off.

"There's only one, but it's so fast." Thoma said. He held his hands to his chest, getting worried.

Kaeya hummed in thought. "No, T. From what I've seen, there's at least 7."

"Eh?" Thoma looked at him. How could there be 7? Wouldn't they have all attacked?

"I saw a glimpse of the opponents leg. It was completely fine. I figured that the kunai pierced the leg of the one who threw it first. One of them is bleeding." Kaeya said. He held a finger to his lips. It seemed like he was focusing on the wind which helped him locate where each opponent fled to. "Each one has a different pattern of movement so altogether, they can stay in sync until they make a move. I'm guessing that with their speed, they'll take turns as an attempt to drain our stamina."

Kaeya! You're so cool! Thoma clasped his hands together in astonishment. The Captain had such sharp sight. And he's wearing an eyepatch too, so he's basically half blind.
