My Sweet Servant // Ayato x Thoma

24: Merry Christmas!

(A Christmas special! Had to write this one early :>)

Everybody was sitting in a circle. They had the whole group there, sitting in the estate. Well.. almost the whole group.

Itto
Yoimiya
Thoma
Sayu
Ayato
Ayaka

"Do we all know how Secret Santa works? We'll all take a paper slip and pass it to the next person." Ayaka said. "We have until Christmas to find a gift for that person."

"Not a lot of days." Heizou said. "Only 3."

Not good if you get somebody you don't know a lot about. Ayato thought. He was sure he was going to get Ayaka, Thoma, or perhaps Itto or Yoimiya, but it all depends on the paper slip he gets.

After he got his paper slip, and everyone else. They waited until everyone had a paper, and the bowl was empty.

"Let's see what we got!" Yoimiya opened her paper. She had a smile plastered over her face.

Ayato looked at the paper he got. "..."

"Ohoho! I know what to get!"

"I got a subtle idea."

Damn.. I didn't get Thoma or Ayaka.. The name that was in Ayato's paper was..

Gorou.

Huh. Maybe I can get myself a good gift for him. He is a general of Watatsumi. He thought. He peered over at Thoma, examining his expression.

The blonde stared at his paper. The little smile he had looked almost fake. He was silent, which was.. unusual on his end.

I can't tell if he's happy with who he got. Ayato always found it hard to read Thoma's expression. Sometimes the ones he makes are unreadable. People can't tell if he's happy, or if he's irritated, he just always wears a smile.

"I guess I could try to find a good gift for them.." Sayu muttered. She leaned onto Thoma and proceeded to fall asleep.

"E-Heh.." Thoma rubbed her head.

Ayato was so tempted to lean over and see what Thoma got, but then the blonde basically crushed the paper in his hand, hiding the name.

"Better to find a good gift now until the last minute." Kazuha got up.

Heizou stood up with him. "I bet you got somebody hard."

"Well, you won't find out until Christmas." Kazuha said. The two left the estate to find something good.

"Sayu, get up, I gotta clean up." Thoma said.

She was already asleep.

"I'll just put her on my bed." Thoma picked her up and walked off. He disappeared once he got into his room.

"How ya holding up, m' bro?" Itto brought all his attention to Ayato.

"Oh, I'm doing quite fine." Ayato said. "A shame you can't tell anyone who you got."

"I got a good one, just wait." Itto crumpled the paper in his hand. "I got a whole lotta ideas."

Thoma came out of his room. "I have some commissions to do, so I better go. I'll see you guys later!" He headed for the door and left the estate.
