Wincing at my appearance in my mirror, I roll up the skirt of my uniform slightly trying to make it look a little bit better.

"Do I look stupid? I feel like a circus tent." I rant to Lucy about the tacky black and blue striped uniform.

He meows over at me and I roll my eyes at his attitude.

"Thanks, that totally makes me feel better." I snap back, putting on my obsidian necklace and dropping some crystals in my pockets.

"Don't listen to him, you look great. Now let's get going before we're late for first period." Enid motions for us to get going, and I grab my satchel to head out.

Wednesday follows closely behind, equally as miserable looking in her more muted school uniform.

As we walk down to the main hall, I observe different students talking with their friends and walking to their respective classes.

"I've got history of Lycanthropy, so I'll see you two later." Enid waves goodbye with a smile and quickly speeds away, leaving me and Wednesday to fend for ourselves before we can even protest.

"What do you have Wednesday?" I ask the dark haired girl and she looks over at me with that signature stare.

"I'm trying out for the fencing club." She tells me with an evil glint in her eye and I hum in amusement.

"Oh well, good luck then. Or should I say bad luck?" I furrow my brow slightly, trying to make sense of her weird backwards way of speaking.

"You're mean... I'm starting to like you." She tells me after a moment, then walks away before I can even react to her semi kind words.

"Thanks I guess?" I reply mostly to myself as I watch her walk away. She sure is something else.

Now left alone, I'm not sure where to go. They don't exactly give you a map to navigate this place.

Frowning down at my printed schedule, I decide to just follow the crowd in hopes of finding some sort of way to get to my class.

However I don't get too far, because soon a familiar tall figure walks in step next to me.

"Good morning, Violet." Xavier looks down at me with a knowing smile, and I smile back at him in greeting.

My stomach flips at the way he says my name, and I don't know how to feel about it.

"Good morning, stalker boy. I see you figured out my riddle." I look down at my shoes as I continue to walk, willing my cheeks not to heat up under his intense gaze. What the hell is going on with me?
