Marco looked at the island that was steadily getting closer. He couldn't see Izou, he had been sent on a mission, even he didn't know what it was about. Pops had sent Izou on the mission, clearly a secret one. The mission was either extremely serious, or just simply ridiculous. Marco frowned at the thought, he just couldn't see Izou agreeing to leave the boat over a ridiculous mission.

"Anchor just before the island and send a smaller boat, yoi." Marco said. The beach was way too shallow, they wouldn't be able to dock without getting stuck. "Yes sir." The man said as he walked to fulfill Marco's request.

Izou walked through the forest, this damn island that he has been waiting on for 2 days. It had rained almost every single hour of available daylight. Which he didn't get much of either. First pops sends him on this stupid mission that anybody else could have done, then he's stuck here after his ride left him. He's never doing something like this ever again. Even if it is to fulfill a favor, he will go far to repay someone, but if it requires him to leave the ship, he's saying no.

Izou scowled as he watched someone row towards him. He understands why they can't come and dock, but he's too pissed to listen to reason.

When Izou gets mad, He. Gets. Mad. Anybody on the crew is pretty hard to make outright angry, they can get annoyed, but almost never have any of them been seriously angry at each other. But Newgate, has some damn explaining to do.

Whitebeard could already feel the unease build in his stomach.

The man who rowed and picked up Izou could feel the anger radiating off of him. Had he had the balls, he would have asked what made him so mad, but he actually would rather live and not be pushed into the ocean.

Marco looked at Izou and immediately knew, something had pissed him off. He's dealt with an angry Izou before, he's had his experience, when Izou first joined the crew he had been... Testy.

"Was it the wait, yoi?" Izou scowled. "No.. Kind of." He just shook his head and almost threatened to run his hands through his hair but stopped short. "It's not worth it." He growled under his breath. "Where is Newgate." Izou looked sharply at Marco. Marco almost backed away, Izou, had said Newgate. Izou was about to ask his question again but stopped short when he looked behind Marco to a wall.

Marco looked at Izou with a raised brow. "Izou?" Izou looked between the wall and Marco. "A spirit? Since when?" Marco was slightly surprised. "You can see him, yoi?" Izou shook his head. "No, only spirits can see other spirits when they become intangible." Marco was silent for a moment. "Oh?" Izou only shrugged.

"It doesn't matter, you guys seem to have known." Izou stomped off. Marco laughed slightly, he made sure Izou was out of earshot, he hadn't even answered Izou's question.

Maybe that will give pops some time to brace himself. He was a Yonko, someone who could rival the pirate king, but he was always the target of a lecture of some kind, usually by the nurses, but today it was going to be Izou.

Now Marco was really curious about what he was sent to do. He will probably hear all about it during breakfast tomorrow at the commanders table.

Marco looked back over at the wall, he knew Ace was there, but he doesn't understand how Izou saw him. Maybe Haruta was right, though Ace doesn't really need to be taken care of.

Thatch found himself cutting more potatoes than he intended, he was making different types of hash browns. Some looked like chips, others were practically salad. That's what happens when you have a crew of this size. And with a final stir of a bowl, he was done with his part of the cooking. He stretched before walking to the galley himself, now it was time to set up the tables for whatever abuse they were to endure today.
