"Cigarettes, and tiny liquor bottles, just what you'd expect inside her new Belanciaga." My phone plays Halsey every morning when I have to wake up for work.

I stretch and rub my eyes, thed being sore from being sad. I have no motivation to get up, and silently laugh at myself about how pathetic I am.

"What's so funny?" Chance says in the doorway, eating a yogurt.

"What're you still doing here?" I question, tilting my head.

"I slept here last night because Tubline stayed with Ryan, and I keep my promises." He says, taking a bite of his yogurt, "Now get up and get dressed! We've got to go make coffee for rude ass Americans!"

I laugh, "Okay!" I say, holding out my word. Taking off Chances sweatshirt, I grab a white tee from my closet that says 'Vote for Pedro' in faded red letters, and slide on a pair of blue jean shorts that look like they came straight from the 90's. After messily putting my hair into a pony tail, I put on my old plain black vans, grab my bag and Chances sweatshirt and walk into the living room.

"Ready to run?" Chance says, grabbing his keys and opens the front door.

"What?" I giggle.

He turns around in shock, "Its a One Direction song!" He says, "You're not a One Direction fan? You look like a One Direction fan." Chance says as we get into his car, which smells like fresh watermelon and cologne.

"Looks like we both were wrong. I never assumed a muscular six foot four Australian man would be a One Direction fan." I say as he backs out of the driveway. We both laugh and he puts in their cd called FOUR, just to show me the song he referenced. I can't help but laugh the whole car ride at Chance whose singing along and knows every word.

"Thank you for that." I giggle, getting out of the car and walking into the coffee shop.

"You're welcome." He chimes back, following behind me.

I flip on the lights and start up the coffee machines while Chance sweeps and washes down tables. He has his phone hooked up to the shops speakers, and he is playing the Fitz and the tantrums Pandora station.

We have everything under control and are having a really fun morning dancing around the coffee shop and singing really badly. It's around 10am and the college crowd should be here any minute.

12pm and our shift is over.

"Where are you going for lunch?" Chance asks as we take off our aprons in the back.

I shrug, "Probably back to the apartment."

"Is Tubline back from Cali?" He asks, waving to Rena and Michael as we walk out the door.

"Nope." I reply, "She won't be back until around 10 tonight."

"Well," Chance says as we get into his car, "you think you can do okay by yourself in the apartment?" He asks, leaning his head back on the headrest.

I smile, "Yes. I'll be fine."

He replies with an okay he drives me home, hitting every green light.

"Call me if you need anything." He says as I get out of the car.

"I will. Promise." I say. I walk into the apartment as he drives off, and I remember I forgot to give him back his Red Hit Chili Peppers hoodie. I shrug at the thought and go take a shower to relax myself. After getting clean I find something to eat for lunch and head into my room to read a book.

It's a simple day for a simple, yet heartbroken girl.
